I think we'd eliminate Bayern if we played them again. They are good, but they're beatable imo. We were winning at one point in the 2nd leg last year.

Now that I think on it, Juve Madrid battles have always been so intense in the passed. I think we would be overmatched against them, but I wouldn't be too scared of them.

For three quarters of the game they were the better team.And no its not actually down to that one 'penalty' that you went into extra time.It was more due to poor finishing from the Bayern attackers.

They just had more possession. Both teams had similar shots on target. However they were slightly better.

If we could get Bayern in the quarters, that would be swell. Would Real Madrid lose? Pretty high chance of that. Would the internet tears be absolutely tasty if Bayern get knocked out? You betcha.

It doesn't work that way, at least not for Madrid. How we do really depends on the style of our opponent. If Bayern try to go down the possession route to dominate they would be playing into our hands. So no, we won't play like how we played United because we would be playing a different team.

We can beat any team still left in the competition, but of course you have to actually play the game to find out who would actually beat who.

Not gonna lie though I hope Bayern draw Juve. One less team to worry about for us.

Dint exactly mean to say in terms of style of play.Regardless there was still this unconvincing factor about you to sum up the whole tie whereas Bayern on the other hand are in rip roaring form and breaking records left and right so that would be intimidating enough.I mean i think you can surely do better.I think you would agree.

did you see how we played in the second leg? altho we were on top in the first leg and should probably have killed the tie then we were thoroughly outplayed for 48 mins in the second leg, that could have left us trailing by 4 goals to 0

bayern are head and shoulders better than united not even a discussion, they(united) resorted to chelsea tactics against us in our worst form while you could essily have made a case of bayern being better ovrr two legs against us in our best form

also our defence hasn't exactly been convincing either, cacktrao seems to have improved but arbeloa seems to have regressed pretty drastically and then you have ramos/pepe having a competition on who can have the most patches of brainfarts a game at least we have Varane this season who acts as a sweeper to those two

in our best form they would absolutely not have had the chances they had, we wouldn't have left it until the late 80th min to turn around the tie against City and we definitely would have won against teams in laliga who have the same players they had last season I mean rikki from depor murdered us this is the same team who were convncingly beating teams with our b side, this with injured higgy and dimaria and an out of sorts kaka

partly you can blame Mou because we stil haven't learned how to defend set pieces eliminate them and we would only be trailing barca by a couple of points

last season we got through this kind of opposition and when we needed to score we did. this season on the other hand.........well check our away record to have it explained

only benzema last season scored more goals than him and higgy combined this season tells you all really

They would have had those chances imo and we probably would have wasted chances even if we were in good form. We were in good form last season yet we didn't beat Bayern.

We've always been suspect defensively and we've wasted big chances as well. It's not really down to poor form.

Well, for now I shall be keeping my fingers crossed for Schalke to proceed against Galatasaray. Bayern - Arsenal is tomorrow, and then we can start to sort out the QF ^^
