Btw, iniesta's performance at the euro 2012 says it all for me.
Like sport says.. he sacrifices alot when playing with messi. But in the spain national team he has more of a free role.. no wonder that iniesta and the one in spain play so much different..

Iniesta was too busy carrying Xavi on his back. He's at his best when he's linking the midfield to the attack and he could barely do that in Munich. There was too much pressure on him from Martinez and he had to drop back because he wasn't getting support in advanced areas.

2. He's gotten older, the skills have obviously declined. Doesn't mean he's overrated.

I must of dreamt Iniesta being a key player in Barca winning 3 CLs and Arguably the MOTM in two of them and a key reason they turned the other one round.

I also must of dreamt Iniesta being a key player in two Euros and one WC truimph and accepted as Spain's most important attacking player.

My bad it turns out after all he was just a fraud who rode Messi and Xavi to titles.

Has been very average so far this season, but I put that partially on Enrique. Still has been too much of a bystander throughout Barca's season and hasn't gotten involved enough.

He's not acting like it right now, but let's not take that away from him being one of the best if not the best midfielder for Spain and Barcelona (and therefore the world) since 2008.
