My money is on Mou playing a Modric-Ozil-Kaka midfield with Ronaldo, Pipa and Morata in attack.

Ozil's going to be rested IMO

Ozil was on bench last game. he will start but play 60 minutes likely.

Nacho might start... thats nice

Nacho at RB makes sense I guess.

It's more likely Albiol will start at right back. I expect a high scoring win for Real Madrid.

Casemiro put in a solid shift I thought

put in some fantastic challenges, spread the ball out well....
really I think his poor Castilla form is down to the fact that he feels he is a first division player, on account for the fact he was a starter for Sao Paolo
maybe Mourinho should give him more chances

he wasnt a starter at sao paulo,didnt even make it to the bench most of the time

he did well positionally, i thought, but he wasnt very involved on the ball. this is the first ive seen casemiro play, but id like to see more.

Casemiro had a great debut, he was probably man of the match in the first half, he and Modric bossed the midfield. His contributions were less telling when Modric was subbed off in the second half. I think he'll be traveling to Germany based on today's performance.

I hope the injury to Marcelo isn't very serious, Coentrao is still a doubt and we might have to play the first leg with Nacho as left back.

Good game overall considering the lineup, I hope for a better performance against Dortmund on Wednesday though.

even if you were just rating his first half performance, i thought his second half was better personally anyway.

this is a perfect example of madrid fans over rating a player after seeing him play once. travel to dortmund? first of all hes not even eligible, second hes been crap for castilla apparently so no chance he would get a call up for cl even if he could.

Didn't see the match, is Marcelo's injury serious ? How did the team play overall ?

After Modriç was subbed we playd a double pivot in midfield consisting of Pepe - Casmeiro :O

I heard that Casemiro played in this game? I was not able to watch . How will did he play?

I thought he was brilliant in the first half alongside Luka Modric, the two bossed the midfield. I was particularly impressed by his distribution, his long ball were quite good, several times in the match he was able to send pinpoint accurate 30 yard passes to Varane on the right and released Callejon a few times with the long ball over the top but Callejon was caught offside more often than not, he could easily have had an assist.

He was restricted to mainly defensive duties when Modric was subbed for Pepe and Real Madrid lost control of the midfield. With this display I expect him to have a handful of appearances for the senior team before the season ends.

he is a very complete player, played as a CB/DM/CM/AM in our u20 NT that won everything alongside Neymar,Lucas,Oscar,Coutinho,Alex Sandro etc...

he fell out in Sao Paulo for some reason and was just a sub

i hope we sign him and try to develop his talent further, maybe send him to germany on loan

but Regis he played over 100 games for the club... All i was saying that when he was playing with Castilla, he was in a very odd position of having to play for a reserve team compared to when he was playing games for Sao Paolo's first team
