Which one is it then?
CBarca wrote:Nah. The last two games Spurs have been shocking in their choking, but they pulled through in one of those games and this should serve as a wake up call.
This team's a lot different from last year and I know that's easy to say, but I do believe it. Especially without the comfy gap we had last year.
Spurs will get CL qualification and win the Europa League.

Tottenham have one hope.
If Lennon comes back, and the team goes back to normal, it can be done.
Otherwise Spurs are playing Thursday nights again.

On the other hand it seems I'm being proven wrong each passing day.

Re: Rival Watch
What people fail to take into account in Arsenal's "relatively easy run in" is that you're facing some teams near the bottom.
You guys will know how they will play vs a team at the top. They need whatever points they can get.
IMO it's much easier playing teams in the midtable, even some of the more top teams I fancy rather than playing relegation fighters.
It looks easy but it's not going to be. I see you guys dropping as many points as anyone else. And I don't see you guys finishing in fourth unless Chelsea do absolutely awful in the run in.
No trolling this time. Purely serious.

As the season wears on, the teams near the bottom will be forced to chase 3 points as 1 point may not be enough to ensure they reach safety.

Re: Rival Watch
Fair doos but if we can beat WBA while either Chelsea or Spuds drop points then we're in a much stronger position to finish the rest of our fixtures with. I'm not relishing the prospect of playing WBA away.

Re: Rival Watch
All I know is that we always struggle against WBA away, even when we win they make it hard for us. I remember last season we needed 3 defensive mistakes to get the win and they're stronger this season. We can't take anyone lightly, relegation scrub or not we have to score early and keep it tight in defence.

Well said. People have short memories. Last year we were suppose to have an easy run as well but lost against fulham, drew against norwich at home, lost to wigan at home etc.
Tottenham and Chelsea for me are favourites for 3rd n 4th atm. Unless we are above either team, we can't rely on an "easy" run in

Re: Rival Watch
*Reading have lost six successive Barclays Premier League games; one away from the worst run seen this season in the Premier League, also set by the Royals (seven games).
*The Royals have conceded the first goal on 19 occasions this season; more than any other team.
*Despite scoring the first goal on 16 occasions this season (bettered only by five teams), Southampton have only held on to win seven of those games (D5 L4).
*Despite having the worst shooting accuracy in the Premier League (39.8%), Reading have the fourth best conversion rate with their chances (15.3%). It is bettered only by Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea.
*Swansea City are yet to win in the league this season when they have fallen behind (D6 L11).
*There have been fewer goals scored at Carrow Road (31) than any other Premier League ground this season.
*Michu has scored a league-high six headed goals this season for Swansea. Last season, the highest tally of headed goals by a player was Steven Fletcher (7).
*Tony Pulis' side have had just 94 shots on target this season; a joint-league low with Reading.
*The Potters have failed to score in more Premier League games than any other side this season (14).
*Christian Benteke has scored nine goals in his last 11 Premier League appearances.
*West Brom's pairing of Jonas Olsson and Gareth McAuley have made 32 blocks each this season.
Only Ryan Shawcross (33) and Ashley Williams (42) have made more.
*No team have scored more goals after the 76th minute of matches this season than Arsenal (15).
*Four of Arsenal's six league away wins this season have come in their last seven trips away from the Emirates (D1 L2).

Re: Rival Watch
Spuds coming from behind to gain a point..
but Everton losing 2 points.. otherwise they would have closed the gap to us as 2 points..
so may be better result than Spuds losing..
Chelsea also trailing at half-time.. what more u need..
