What have i been telling you?
In all honesty, i didnt expect a 4 - 0 deficit; i had my predictions set at 3 - 0 or 3 - 1. I never doubted that bayern would lose the tie though. They re by far the superior team and they're gonna beat us (madrid) if we rise above our egos and embrace our differences and self interests.

I think Madrid will triumph over dortmund but we have to see at what price; injuries, card? It depends on the system we play. Playing a headless donkey like di maria, a slow giant like khedira, an aging alonso and a lost soul like Pippita will not cut corners for victory. It's going to be like an oak tree in the face of a storm. The storm will break us if not in the semis then definitely in the finals.

We must play the elegant one, a prince with the weapons to change a game with his passes and unstoppable shots. Mourinho will keep him until Madrid are down 1 - 0; i know him, we know him and i hope we'll be down 1 - 0 as early in the game (final) as possible to allow time for the prince to make the necessary impacts and changes.

This Madrid team is different from the one that lost to dortmund; this time the root cause of the problems had been eradicated; the small stuttering snitch iker casillas had been removed; the source of all mishaps and problems in the madrid campaign for the last decade and more. the backline is solid as well.

The problem lies in the mid-field / attacking midfield which lacks any creativity and flair. We might survive the semis, but definitely not the final.

Ronaldo is real madrid, his powers are amplified in the presence of the elegant one. Both dortmund and bayern will mark him. Ronaldo alone wont be able to carry madrid to glory this time.

Why does kaka play brilliantly as a sub? Some madrid fans consider him a super sub. This is misleading actually. Reason he plays perfect as a sub is because he's normally subbed when the rules are broken and the tactics are changed, when madrid are down or up by more than one. You cant cage Kaka, an elegant prince, a brilliant painter. That's how he used to play with Milan without any rules or boundaries. That's how ronaldo plays with madrid and messi with barca.

All i can advise Madrid now is that they be fearless. If they stutter, or even think about conceding a goal they will concede.

Playing kaka, though is the key to winning, is far from happening. He can be a great sub given the circumstances and if Madrid are lucky they concede early. If they're luckier, Di Maria might pick up an injury.

But Kaka is still crap.
