goodbye capitano..
18 years.. he has been in milan since i was born.. i know he wasnt the best of players.. he would certainly be remembered for his loyality and heart than his displays on the pitch.. none the less he performs exceptionally well when asked. just like his performance against barcelona..
good bye capitano.. good bye ambro..
you have given us loads of memories.. u r part of milans legacy..

i think its the right decision.. not only will he not get any play time.. but its time for him to hand over to the youngsters for the youth revolution and montolivo has now become the flag bearer..
this team will now be lead by montolivo and the second in line IMO should be abate

Re: goodbye capitano..
Deep down i knew he would be leaving tbh . Ambrosini has always been important for Milan . He had always a part to play in almost all of our past success . I am grateful he was a Milanista all these years and i hope he returns to Milan sooner than later .

Re: goodbye capitano..
Ambrosini leaving does make me sad. He was never the star player of the team but was always loyal to the cause of the team, he worked his ass off and he was one man we could always rely on to give his best. But, there comes a time when one must move on (last summer taught us that more then well) and I think the time is right for Ambro.
Next captain according to Galliani will be Montolivo, if Abbiati agrees to that.

Re: goodbye capitano..
It makes me sad.... He was never the perfect player, he was just a damn hard worker that put his heart out on the pitch (while understanding the game on a tactic level, he was actually pretty smart tactically, hence why he worked well in big games), and that's why I love him

Grazie Capitano. One of the most underrated midfielders ever, and he never complained, all he did was tackle and give his heart out to Milan. Great professional. A true Milan legend. His trophies speakfor him. Goodbye.

Re: goodbye capitano..
Man i'll miss Ambro . Shame on Galliani he dealt with him like that btw. What his agent said (basicaly Ambrosini) is right , after all these years they could have told him sooner than that.
In any case , Ambro was a rare kind of player. Despite lacking the technical abilities up front , he was the perfect team player , always gave his everything for Milan. Many teams wanted him back in the day as well , he was too good for rotation on his day , but he always wanted Milan before anything.
True Milanista . I hope our management conciders Ambro and offer him a role within our ranks when he retires , not like Maldini.. when will they bring back Paolo , morrons ffs

Re: goodbye capitano..
I want to say I'm not too happy with the way this was all announced, as it was basically just announced by Galliani. Ambro for his dedication should have been given a proper press conference thanking him for the years of service with the player given an opportunity to say his words.

Re: goodbye capitano..
Awful way to part ways with a player that has shown incredible dedication and loyalty towards the club.
Although i expected his contract not to be renewed, it leaves me feeling ill tbh. I am however excited to see him play in the BPL, where a player with his battling and leadership qualities is highly commended.
I want Milan to give him a proper goodbye as befitting for a Captain of Milan. Next season will tell whether or not his absence in the dressing room will be missed.
Grazie Capitano " Il leone " Ambrosini
