But out of the 3, it'd have to be Isco who is benched at least until he can justify a starting spot over Mesut.

I just can't see Karim getting benched. And if he knew that was the plan then i'm sure he'd be desperate to leave himself. Imagine having your only competition sold and then told that you were going to be riding the bench with Ronaldo in your spot Laughing

do you now understand why the bale buy makes zilch sense Proud Perez is trying to force players on Carlo and leave him with the dirty work of trying to keep everyone happy

I hope levvy tells us to do one so that we can call it a day and use the already complete squad that we have which lacks nothing. our buy were so smart and good this summer and they are trying to jeopardise tgat by buying this guy smfh

besides nobody can bench ozil. noone has that brain abd creativity tgat he offers certainly not isco. they can give him something to think about but not replace him altogether

Yeah I know why it's just stupid. But RM are so massively determined to get him. And if they do, he will be starting. Which is why i'm starting to think there's going to be 1 or 2 unhappy high profile players should Bale come.

if carlo goes with 4-2-3-1 then isco lw, ozil am, bale rw and Ronaldo cf. if he goes with 4-3-1-2 then ozil am and bale-ronaldo forward. if he goes with 4-2-2-2 then ozil and bale behind ronaldo and benzema

so its either going to be benz or isco benched in all systems. both of these will likely leave if they know they will be feeding on scraps then tou have jese holding the club at ransom in demand for playing time Proud what a nightmare

Paris & Monaco cannot be compared to City or other money clubs, especially Paris.

PSG was huge back then alongside Marseille & ASSE who had huge rivalries. If anything, the primadonna is Lyon and their fans who think too much of themselves after their success last decade.

Yep that's my thoughts exactly with Karim

Like I said, his only competition is gone so if he's not starting despite being the only striker (Don't know about youth, but you know what I mean) at Carlos disposal, and still can't get a game then he'll be off as quickly as he can.

Isco, well he'll probably be eager and patient in his first couple of seasons. But if it still looked similar after that, he'd be off too.

PSG have a history of being every much as "great" as Man City. Let's not pretend otherwise. They're both vastly underachieving clubs who'd be consigned to mid-table mediocrity without money.

none of those bloody mediocre clubs were deserving of the money, they just happened to be the lucky ones that the Oil tycoons pulled out of the hat full of names to buy.

equivalent to lucky sperm kids who are born into wealth...did nothing to achieve/earn it. :coffee:

Is there a proper way to analyse Bale?

Bale scored 21 goals last season in the EPL, Suarez and RvP scored more.

In La Liga Negredo, Falcao, Soldado, Messi and Ronaldo scored more than Bale.

So I'm not sure why we want to pay €100m for Bale.

However the argument here could be he's younger, supposedly a good dribbler, good at long shots and quick. But I don't think that makes him worth €100m.

He's an average dribbler. Little close control & use of only one foot while his world class athleticism is the prime propellant in going past his markers.

His strengths lie in his long shots, ability to quickly go down the flank, has clutch ability as shown from last year & has tactically improved, despite his obvious limitations.

Basically is the Welsh Kevin Constant.

Lol at the detractors. We're going to punish him for scoring from long range now? Wow

And when you're scoring at the phenomenal volume he does from distance it isn't just "luck" or "hit and hope". Actual skill is involved.
