Your ignorance was shown up when you claimed Chelsea and Man City had less than 5 titles each.

No one cares about runners up or semi finals, Monaco's success in Europe is non-existent and you cannot ignore Chelsea and Man City's CWC success then use Monaco's runner-up place as an achievement and expect to be taken seriously.

PSG, Monaco, Chelsea and Man City were mediocre clubs before reaping the benefit of wealthy benefactors. Your biased view favouring the French clubs and promoting semi finals "achievements" and other trivial inane nonsense over the English clubs actual success makes your argument look pathetic.

Chelsea and City did have less than 5 titles each before the current ownership.  Just look it up ffs.  I gave you the Chelsea wiki page to help.

Anything before 1950 is pretty much amateur footy btw.  Let's keep it in the last 50 years or so  City had a FA and EPL in the 60s and the UEFA cup winner's cup in 1970.  That's the extent of their modern footy record.

I don't really rate the Cup Winner's Cup, that is now defunct, as a major trophy... but that's your call.

dude... you are seriously counting league cup and community shield? I mean seriously? There's a "sisters of mercy" cup out there too.

Only FA, EPL, CL, Europa and UEFA Cup (now Europa) are major. Even CWC is a mickey mouse trophy.

I'm not sure why you keep banging on about the community shield as it hasn't been mentioned as a success by me, it's as irrelevant as you mentioning the finals and semi-finals Monaco have played in.

The fact is this: you're discrediting Man City and Chelsea and claiming they're undeserving of being bankrolled because of their modest success throughout their history, yet you seem to think both PSG and AS Monaco have more of a right and credible claim despite both being equally unimpressive when it comes to prestige and achievement.

PSG and Monaco were far, far better teams in modern footy than City and Chelsea... not even close. Their record speaks for themselves.

You have to go waaaay bay into the 60s and before for at least a couple of the City and Chelsea trophies. All the success for PSG and Monaco has happened since the 80s.

That would have to mean Isco/Ozil is benched, which shouldn't really happen. That's why hopefully we don't sign Bale.

I think Modric is the one that gets benched and Isco drops to CM.

But out of the 3, it'd have to be Isco who is benched at least until he can justify a starting spot over Mesut.


I just can't see Karim getting benched. And if he knew that was the plan then i'm sure he'd be desperate to leave himself. Imagine having your only competition sold and then told that you were going to be riding the bench with Ronaldo in your spot
