Gareth Bale transfer saga

If Bale wants the move he should hand-in a transfer request and make clear his desire to leave Spurs rather than acting like a brat.

I agree they have been somewhat vocal about him. don't even know when the last time was Perez did this. maybe to justify his high price tag to the madrid fans later on (who probably dont even want him)

as for using the papers that can't be true since in an earlier interview Perez laid his teeth into the spanish media and really went on a rant about them. Our club don't have the best relationship with the spanish media atm. besides more has come out of the English press than the spanish counterparts. Also they all claim different sums so they are just showing how clueless they are on the issue and are only going by Zidanes and Perez's quotes to stir shite up

I don't know what the big deal was with Carlo confirming interest in Bale was.... it's not like the whole world didn't know already

And it's not like Rosell who openly asked for Thiago Silva of PSG to rebel against his club (that was insane to me).

Managers are put into these tricky situations during transfers windows and asked questions about players at other clubs and they generally deal with it well. Except for Harry Redknapp.

I hope the deal is dead.
If it's on I hope it's not around the prices that were being reported.

I think there's a meeting between Flo and Levy in Miami on Wednesday last i read from AS... so nothing is going to happen until then.

Moyes hasn't been talking about Fabregas at all just confirming there is a bid has consistently said that Ed Woodward is doing the business and he has nothing to say.

I don't know why Spurs (or any sane club for that matter) don't want to sell him if there's an offer of €100+ million on the table.

The later the deal is sealed, the less Spurs can do with the money in terms of signing replacements and are surely going to get ripped off by others as everyone else will know they have the money and they're desperate.

Perhaps Levy is attempting to squeeze a few extra quid out of them.

This, because Perez is so desperately in for Bale that he wouldn't give up on him for just a few millions, so it makes perfect sense from Levy's pov.

Not sure if the annual installment deal is going to be the case, like many have reported. If so, they will only get €20m a year or something like that for 5 years.

If that's the case, then the I'd assume the deal isn't really time sensitive.

I think he has secured funds for any deal under 100 mill and only needs Spurs' approval now. He wouldn't come out in public and openly announce he is tracking a player if he wasn't sure it would go through
