Listen to yourself ffs. Khedira is clearly a good player, he's not Cruyff on the ball but he doesn't have to be because he honestly doesn't have any major weaknesses to his game at all.

His football IQ is off the charts, runs all day, good awareness, strong, fast (not quick though) and in general allows the rest of the team more freedom because he can do the things that others aren't willing to do.

Is he elite? no but he's obviously good and an asset to any team. Coaches like him and he's a natural winner not much else to say.

Khedira only looks good when he runs forward, we need him to do the same running the other way.

There is nothing wrong with testing the market. Di Maria is doing the same thing (except his contract ends in 2018 but we'll let that slide lol).

Athletes and their agents want to negotiate the best possible deal for themselves. There is nothing wrong with that, so long as everything is handled on good terms I personally think it is a healthy way of doing things.

True if he wants to go get paid go get paid. But at this point it would be better if we sold him. the money they are offering for him is well above what i think most of us expected. Khedira is a good guy, but he doesn't fit our midfield. let him go and find somebody that does. Unless di maria goes then I think we would have to keep him.

ofc he is testing the market Z, ADM has a deal till 2018 that pays him less than half what he is worth. by 2018 he will be 29-30, there is no way he can carry on his current deal.

You are only worth what you can negotiate for yourself. This is how the world of employment works.

yes it is, yet if you are about to lose a very talented player, it's your responsibility to see that he is paid.

let's be realistic for a moment here, is James anywhere as good as Di Maria? no he is not. the intelligent play here is to carry on with the better player. it makes little sense not to reward a player that directly influenced a champions league win, and then to go on to overpay for a young talent because he beat the likes of greece, ivory coast, japan and suarez-less uruguay.

So one showboated against tactically and technically mediocre teams, and the other helped you overcome some of the finest football machine out there.
