De Gea x Courtois

those two are for me the brighest young keepers around atm. They are barely 22, and already dominating the leagues they play in.

so i am asking to those who have watched them both, who is the better, and has the highest prospect of dominating moving forward.

Donut Gea lets in shocking goals tbh. I've seen both of them and Courtois seems better to me. Not to mention is two years younger.

Reflexes is an important ability of a keeper, so yeah, I do rate De Gea because of his reflexes.

Over 18 months ago yeah.... over last 18 months Neuer and Buffon have made more mistakes than De Gea has.

Not like GL to focus on the past and refuse to acknowledge the present though.

De Gea easily for me. Before you call Spanish bias, he plays for MUFC, thus I want him to fail.

Yet Courtois is one of the most overrated GKs out there today. Seen too many fumbles from distance, set-pieces and trajectory judgements from him. Quiet as a mule and positions himself far too slowly on the post marks despite having the right ideas most of the time.

De Gea continues to lack skill in his aerial defence and has non-existent command yet has proven himself to be MUFC's #1 with a great deal of conviction from himself and the fans.

Just a better GK for me.

De Gea continues to lack skill when it comes about aerial defense, however he improved a lot in the last 2 seasons and he is much better at this aspect.

But you said that 'he has non-existent command'...you are wrong my friend. De Gea speaks english very well now and he is very good at talking with the defenders, he is always in command. Rio, Vidic and Evra are very good friends with de Gea. If you watch Manchester United you will see that David has no more problems in being a leader of the defense.

Honestly, I didn't watch Courtois enough to compare him with DDG.
