There is a fallacy in the thinking that there is a breed of managers that specializes in certain tournaments over the others, a trend which i ve noticed recently. I will have to touch on that sometime and explain the difference between world class first tier managers and second and third tier managers.

Always felt that a positive approach suits Real Madrid a lot more than trying to be "defensive solid". Arby and Coentrao are decent as defensive full backs but they offer very little going forward or spreading the play wide.

Like what Dante pointed out, watching the line up Saturday seemed like the club was playing a UCL away leg than a La Liga home game.
