I don't really see where you get that from. Firmino didn't actually have good numbers in Bundesliga. he had one season where he performed great and scored in double digits, out of 4, or even 5, seasons he played there and didn't produce much. Noone in Germany would consider Firmino as a memorizable Bundesliga player in anyway.

Marcelo is overrated cause fans nowadays are just so in love with dribbling, and dribbles means your playing great, he has been tried as a cm and winger it sucked, yet as soon as he pulls off a flick, same brain dead posts, decent attacker with his link up and dribbling, but his crosses are 50/50 and shooting is rash, lb version danilo without the fan bias of course, overrated? sure but most ever? nah he plays for Madrid he is gonna be rated over the top good or bad.

I think Marcelo is the most influential attacking fullback in europe. I think there is a healthy understanding that he is a poor defender, but can be so overwhelming in offense. You can't call him the LB version of Danilo, that's ridiculous.

That influence is the same reason he is bad defensively, always chilling near the halfway line that bad awareness needs to said, instead of shifting blame on kroos for failing to cover 2 or the 3 players running at him for example
, I'm not knocking what he brings to the offense but his dribbling is the main reason why he doesn't get flamed like danilo, he is obviously a better player my point they are similarities between the two overall not quality.

The only times I remember Marcelo being solid, was when coentrao was benching him, he played very balanced in those period, so he can do much better imo he just doesn't do it.

It's because ancelotti and Zidane are not pressuring him with another player that can start. He is treated like a perennial starter for good or bad

Seen somewhere links about another lb coming, hopefully its someone decent enough to push him, great player but just too lax about defending when its half his job, bothers me to where sweet dribbling doesn't make it less glaring at times, and not enough of the fanbase and media gets on him for that, makes him overrated imo.
