Will be more confident going into a semi final with Ramsey than without

We'll have to give Rambo a little time, but I still feel like this about his return:

Ramsey and Monreal are back, Gibbs and Gnabry are out. We never would get two players back without having two other players out, would we?

Wenger: "We have a doubt about Kieran Gibbs with an ankle problem and Gnabry has a knee problem"

http://news.arseblog.com/2014/04/gibbs-and-gnabry-doubts-for-everton-but-ramsey-is-back/

Well not out 100%, but when Wenger says a player is a doubt for next match, we might aswell say he's out for sure Laughing

Agh, yeah just seen it. If Monreal is just coming back we really don't want to have to start him.

Must be some serious voodoo hex someone put on us. Literally doesn't stand to any kind of reason that we sub players in and out of injury so consistently.

Expect some shitty performances from Ramsey in the next few weeks (which is understandable but *bleep* logic), so brace yourself for the "half season wonder", "fake form", "Kallstrom > Ramsey" comments Laughing

Leading coach Raymond Verheijen

Looked him up

Years Team
2011–2012 Wales (caretaker)

I helped the teacher pick teams for a game of football in P.E. once during my secondary school days, does that make me a leading coach too?

Koscielny could be back for West Ham on Tuesday; Ozil could be back for Hull next Saturday; Gibbs, Chamberlain and Rosicky are all doubts for Wigan; Ramsey fit to start against Wigan.

So one in, three out this time.

Fabianski,
Sagna, Per, Verm, Monreal
Ramsey, Arteta
Cazorla
Poldi - Giroud - Gnabry

?

Don't see any other option then other than for Gnabry to start which isn't the worst thing in the world. Or could Kallstrom get the nod so that Ramsey could play on the wing? We all know how much Wenger loves marooning him out there Laughing

Still not a bad side.

I'd imagine Kallstrom would play alongside Arteta, Ramsey would play as a third midfielder and Cazorla would be shifted over to the right hand side with Podolski on the left. No update was given on Gnabry so I assume he's still injured.

Where that'd leave our bench I've no idea. Worst case scenario none of Gibbs, Rosicky or Chamberlain pass their late fitness tests so we'll be calling up the kids. I think at least two of them will make the bench, though.

In other news:

on Diaby...
Diaby is back to full training next week. He could be available soon, maybe in a couple of weeks.

on Wilshere...
It's all going well but he has not started to run. I think that's planned for next week. At the moment all is going well.

Wenger "Some of the injuries are down to the medication that the players take that you don't even know about.

"Then you realise afterwards that they took this medication - but that's not prudent.

"Maybe the liver doesn't work as well because of the medication.

"The toxins don't go as quickly out of the body as they should and they get tired.

arsenal, arsenal fc, afc, the gunners, arsene wenger, wenger, the emirates, drugs, injuries, PLAYERS TAKE THINGS WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT: Wenger thinks that some players may be taking medications which slows down their recovery [GETTY]

"If you lose your hair and if you've taken something to make your hair grow it might not be good, especially for the rest of your body.

"Medication always pushes a part of your body and is sometimes detrimental to other parts of your body."

Chamberlain, Rosicky and Gibbs all trained on Friday so hopefully they'll start.

Koscielny back Tuesday. Ozil back next Sunday.

Would mean Wilshere, Diaby, Walcott only ones out then - and even then, Diaby is training again already.
