Sina wrote:Headline in tomorrow's[today now] France Football magazine interview with #AFC's forgotten man Abou Diaby: 'I'll never give up'
Diaby working like mad to get back. Training at altitude in French Alps this week. Back at #AFC April 1. Desperate to play this season (FF)
Diaby: 'Ive never given up hope of going to World Cup. Thinking of that has kept me going. Once Im back on pitch, everything's possible (FF)
Athletics trainer working with Diaby says '9/10 players would've given up. People who say Diaby is fragile are wrong. He is Highlander' (FF)
he feels indebted to Arsenal, who have stood by him, and he'd love to help them with the Cup
aims to be back in full training mid april, but Arsenal will assess him on april 1

Abou
Hats off to guy , other players (Hagreaves) would have throw in the towel ages ago
When I read that, this song came into my mind. Diaby in Rocky balboa mode running in those mountains

Nothing would make me happier than to see Diaby back and healthy for good. Imagine him winning us something with a crucial goal and hugging Wenger on the touchline.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
The Guardian reported the Diaby story that he wants to be back then and wants to be in the WC squad.
Ox apparently had tightness in his calf but overcame it. Because Arsenal players always overcome minor injuries with no negative consequences. Always.

Koscielny out for 2 weeks apparently
In Arsenal time, that's 4 weeks. So Vermaelen-Mertesacker for the time being with Sagna as the back up.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
injury update ahead of Man City clash
“Monreal should be the first one back in training because he is just starting to run in the next few days,” Wenger said.
“After him, Ramsey is progressing well but we need to be patient for a few more weeks.”
We should give Ramsey the rest of the year off, no need to bring him back.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
So Monreal is the only player nearing a return. How depressing.
Injury list:
Monreal
Ramsey
Ozil
Koscielny
Wilshere
Walcott
Diaby
Ryo

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
What the hell has happened to ramsey? How does he keep getting reinjured?
Screw signings. Spend ALL the money we have on a new medical staff and facilities. We could sign messi and it wouldn't matter because he'd just get injured whenever we needed him.

He thought nobody would notice the difference between "2 weeks away" and "a few weeks away"

Reportedly we have one of the best in the country so who knows what happens on treatment table. What we do have is management who has habit to rush people back & occasionally ( or usually) lie about the status of player injuries so fans won't go on panic mode.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
I wouldn't trust this medical staff to put on a bandaid at this point. They'd probably give the player a paper cut in the process of applying it.
