There was a run in the 81st minute where he took the ball around the middle of the pitch and dribbled past 3-4 players and, if not for a perfect tackle(might have been a penalty, didn't see the replay) in the last second, he would have scored.

He or Oviedo was MOTM, but I would give the edge to Deulofeu.

Who will play against United, him or  Mirallas  ??

Seeing as how Lennon fares against Evra (usually does quite well), it would not be a bad idea to put Deulo on the right against Evra considering Deulo is similar to the way Lennon plays when he's on the right- very much going past the fullback on the outside with pace and trying to put in a dangerous ball across the box.

Then again, it is Man U, and Deulo is still young and isn't an established starter or a man with a lot of EPL experience or anything.

I'd love to see it happen though because I think Deulo is capable of taking someone like Evra to the cleaners. If Lennon can, I can't see why Deulo can't.

got a good feeling Deulofeu will start, done pretty well in his last 2 games.

That strike was technically fantastic. 80% of the attempts would have failed.

Deulofeu, in those types of positions, will go alone and score if possible. Gibbs shouldn't have been so worried about the pass.

Deulofeu has huge talent and he's proving that he can become a world class player every time he gets the chance, long way to go but hopefully he'll get there! Decision making is improving and he's running more now!

Until he actually gets to the point where he is capable of starting games i would take his stats with a large pinch of salt

In the 3 games that he has started so far, he has been MoTM in all 3 of them.

Martinez is easing him in and forcing him to work on his workrate (and it works if you look at the yellow card today for tracking back ). Probably a strong recommendation by Barca staff, too. Del Bosque wanted to call him up for Spain a year ago or so but the Barca staff interfered as well. His ego must be kept in check.

He's still adapting to England and is still 19. Clearly Martinez is gradually easing him into the country and league. I wouldn't read too much into those league start stats just yet, the last part of the season will be much more relevant towards ability.

Martinez is easing him in and wants him to adapt and learn the language. Off course he can start games and will play much more the second half of the season.
