COUNT HAD GOT IT ALL ...

Antonio Conte was right about one thing: his Juve this year was in need of a makeover or technical form. What we have seen in the first friendly matches showed that the Juventus team is strong, compact but lacks speed and imagination. The only Pirlo is not enough and the arrival of Pereyra do not know if it will be more useful for the quality and the quantity. Conte had noticed that the team would need major changes and preferred to leave the
ship to remain in a stormy boat. Too complicated, in fact, change the module or rebuild everything with the limited budget imposed by society. The difficult task now and 'on the shoulders of that Allegri will have on the one hand to meet the expectations of the fans and the other to find the balance between his ideas and tactics available to men. Conte had it all figured out, it would be a difficult task, Allegri will try it and if it succeeds it will be a huge undertaking ... in the meantime there is much to work with Chievo will be a tough test.

"Lacks speed & Imagination"

Hell I pointed that out in our 2nd season under Conte

It's obvious with no pace and no directness + little creativity you'll struggle in games no matter how good your team is technically.

I'm kind of glad the numbers are changing. The yellow on white was hard to read and needed to be changed. It just didn't look very good. If they wanted yellow letters, it should have been a black box not white.

I hear that Juve and Roma want Napoli to lose out in the Champions League. Why is that? I don't get it. Won't it be bad for Italy?

A number of Juventus players could miss this weekend’s clash against Verona after contracting a flu virus.

Key players including Fernando Llorente, Roberto Pereyra and Sebastian Giovinco, as well as coach Massimiliano Allegri, have all been taken ill with flu symptoms.

TuttoMercatoWeb asserted that Llorente could be the biggest concern, given the squad’s uninspired performance without him in the recent TIM Trophy games.

The Spaniard was also suffering from the symptoms the most, ending training early before recording a high temperature later in the day.

Allegri too, has been absent from training and the squad has been temporarily under the charge of assistant coach Marco Landucci whilst the coach recovers.

Juventus have other injury concerns this weekend with Andrea Pirlo continuing to work separately from the other players after receiving a knock to his thigh during a recent game.

Caution, on the part of the staff for Juventus, will continue for a few days and only at the last minute will Allegri decide whether or not to risk the midfielder

12:44 - PLAYFUL TODAY WILL SEE THE VIDEO TO THE TEAM - Massimiliano Allegri, today, will see the video of his team Chievo Verona to study the most of the opponent. The technician must dissolve Livorno still many doubts related training especially to physical problems. Tomorrow, around lunchtime Allehri will speak at the press conference.

24:10 - ALLEGRI SHOULD DISSOLVE MANY DOUBTS - Massimiliano Allegri between today and tomorrow will dissolve the doubts of training, it will certainly absent in defense Barzagli who is on the road to recovery and Chiellini disqualified. In midfield, Pirlo is still in doubt since yesterday worked separately and also Vidal still has some knee problem. In attack, the situation for Juventus is even more complicated because Llorente still has a fever, Morata is out and Giovinco is recovering from the flu. The number 12 Juventus, however, should be flanked by Tevez. For the offensive department is also Coman that could be an alternative for Allegri.

Antonio Conte has named five Juventus players in his 27-man Italy squad for the upcoming encounters with Holland and Norway.

Gigi Buffon, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini, Claudio Marchisio and Sebastian Giovinco will link up with their Azzurri team-mates in Coverciano today.

Italy take on Holland in a friendly on Thursday 4 September before launching their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign five days later against Norway in Oslo.

The full squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers

Buffon (Juventus), Padelli (Torino), Perin (Genoa), Sirigu (Paris Saint-Germain)

Defenders

Astori (Roma), Bonucci (Juventus), Chiellini (Juventus), Paletta (Parma), Ranocchia (Inter)

Midfielders

Candreva (Lazio), Darmian (Torino), De Rossi (Roma), De Sciglio (Milan), Florenzi (Roma), Giaccherini (Sunderland), Maggio (Napoli), Marchisio (Juventus), Parolo (Lazio), Pasqual (Fiorentina), Poli (Milan), Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain)

Strikers

Destro (Roma), El Sharaawy (Milan), Giovinco (Juventus), Immobile (Borussia Dortmund), Osvaldo (Inter), Zaza (Sassuolo)

I guess we only have 5 players because of Barzagli and Pirlo's injuries. Don't we usually have 7 or 8 players? Giovinco being called up is interesting, same with Zaza and Giaccherini.
