He took studs right to the place between the shinpad and the boot. He was ginger on that leg for the rest of the game -- he's just extremely competitive.

He's had extremely poor diving incidents in the past so I find it odd that people highlight this one, where he was legitimately fouled.

It was fantastic to watch him this year,incredible season and not just for goals scored . he was often unplybable.one of the most beautiful things of this year , for me it was a feast for the eyes, I still have in mind some his skills . and stop disgracing him because he wasn't difference maker against Chelsea, Mourinho stopped even the best Messi with his defensive tactics

You have to adjust for the weak era we're playing in. Suarez's stats albeit impressive are slightly inflated. hmm

As Nick says, the ball was never set so it could not have legally counted. Krul was at sea for it and the players not being set though are just more symptoms of Newcastle's utter lack of discipline throughout the match.

Krul had it covered? Then why did it go in? Just save it and avoid the controversy. Not that it should've counted, as Red and Nick pointed out above.

Anyway, unlike those who follow a Pardew-managed team, I don't get mad about wins. Personally I like seeing my manager add to his win rate and move farther from getting sacked.
