Wouldn't Ronaldo win it because he has played less games or would they count goals and assists?

knowing Ronaldo though he is going to force Carlo to play him just to score one more goal. Luckily for Suarez it's poor mans Casillas in goal who seems to get the better of Ronaldo everytime they meet

Apparently an arthroscopic surgery was done, which is not very invasive(5-10min surgery).

He'll be fine. At worst could miss Costa Rica game. The England game is exactly a month away to the day so he'll be fine.

Apparently it was his challenge where he got a red card in the last game that caused this. But supposedly Suarez only felt pain just yesterday, so who knows.

Didn't Suarez move out the way though? from what i remember he didn't actually touch him although its not like he didn't try to....

But in any case sounds like he's gonna be fine so that's good. We have enough quality players missing as it is.

There was contact but I don't think that's what caused it. Suarez finished the game running like a maniac twisting and turning and all that. He would've felt something in his knee if it was from that. That was 11 days ago. If not during the game he would've felt something during our closing training sessions or just plain felt uncomfortable during those 11 days. But it was only after he trained with Uruguay yesterday that he felt a twinge.

But sounds like he'll be fine so that's good.

I've always thought Uruguay would have "flopped" in this World Cup , now all will have excuse to justify it if their best player by far will miss

Although I am Italian , I hope Suarez will be. If we aren't good to pass the group stage with this Uruguay (2 great CF but the rest ... worn group) it means evidently we don't deserve it , plain and simple. and Suarez deserve to play the World Cup, a cup who has lost already important players ...it can't lose even Suarez

Uruguay, less Suarez, and Costa Rica would make this a pretty easy group for both England and Italy - no disrespect to either intended.

Apparently Suarez had the same injury in 2006 on his right knee & was back in 15 days.
