For a split second there i thought i saw a striker who could actually live up to a 50mil price tag, it was a well taken shot and his pace look pretty good too
hopefully more of the same for next season!

Did look a lot quicker funny how he had to check if it actually went in before celebrating, awesome movement though and a great pass too hopefully we'll get a CM/CAM this summer.

Chelsea lacks creativity, but that does not excuse Torres performance so far he should do better then scoring a goal.

Don't forget that was against USA B team, our best players didn't play in that game.

David Silva is the most important transfer that we missed out on recently. He would have fed Torres like a baby eagle!

I think you guys are overrating David Silva way too much, but he is a good player but not a savior like you guys claim.

I don't think we were ever after Silva tbh, he plays CAM and LF and we were very confident in those positions in the beginning of the year. Since Lampard and Malouda were absolutely brilliant, i don't think anyone expected this type of year from those two.

Torres supporting cast is not good enough, but his individual performance needs to improve immensely for him live up to his 50m transfer fee.

I'm definitely not over-rating Silva mate! That lad is a pure gem! Most of City's chances are created through him. If not for Silva City would find it hard to get to top 4.

Torres's individual performance will improve once he gets his confidence back.

Silva is not that important to City imo, but he is a fantastic player and i would leave it at.

I rate VDV a lot higher, and i think he would've been amazing for us.

Well, apart from Tevez i cant find a more important player for City. And the best thing is he creates most chances for Tevez.

Silva would have been great for us.

I saw the goal and as soon as I did I thought, Chelsea needs a player to play that pass then Torres will be back.

Silva is probs Citys 3rd best player after Tevez and Kompany although Yaya would give him a shout for his money

Yeah i would rank Silva as the third or fourth best play on Shitty.

In fact i also rank Gareth Barry higher. A sign of things to come? 41598_137273122957890_6785_q

Really? From what I've seen so far of Manchester city, he is the one who creates most of the chances. For Tevez, Yaya and etc. Ok Kompany I agree because he is been good defensive. I've seen countless times when Silva starts a counter attack and passes to Yaya or Tevez.
