Why is Alves not playing? Is he injured or just rotations? If rotations, than i must say it seams rather crazy!

We are playing with one less, neymar is doing nothing. Not the best lineup in the world to play Song and Bisquets when opposition parks it.

Looks like the best way to deny Barcelona possession is to play long balls . You guys can literally win no headers, it is quite amusing to see even your taller players struggling against a Sociedad team who are not exactly tall.

Oh, and Piqué and Bartra look absolutely awful together. Frankly it is a joke compared to any top team's CB pair.

BTW this is a total collapse of defense. This is what happens when Pique and Masche have no competition and you put Bartra into a tough game after not playing enough minutes.

Looks like the rumors that one of the reasons Pep left was that he wanted to offload Pique were true. Because Pique is atrocious since he met Shakira.

I haven't really been able to watch the game. I'm watching but my internet is so terrible I'm going to watch the extended match highlights later so I can at least see what happened. Really I've been listening more than watching.

However, this seems like the Sevilla game...except we weren't as clinical/lucky, and Sociedad have been more ruthless (though not as ruthless as they could be LOL).

Hopefully this explains to others why there was so much negativity after a 4-1 win over Sevilla...

The loss of Tito as a coach signified the end of the cycle and the need to let go to some of the elements that defined Pep-Tito era. However our management did not grasp this and wanted to push their agenda which resulted in not removing the parasites from the club and brining the new blood that wants success. We were lucky to have such amazing players like Messi, Iniesta, Xavi et al. that managed to cover the problems the team has for such a long time. But, the burden took its toll, and if the club don't get a fullback and a real CB this summer alongside a substitute for Xavi/Thiago, we are in for a long stretch of poor performances.

As I said, I didn't get to watch much, from what I did watch we desperately needed Xavi out there instead of either Song or Busquets, and he never came on. Instead...Fabregas.

If I had a more clear view of the entire game I'm sure I'd be more fuming with Tata than I am right now.

If we can't win against RC by trying 12235656 times, how we gonna win against other big boys in CL.

we simply need reinforcements. Our players are tired, over played and the guys we have to come in to rotate with them aren't up to the standards. Song playing instead of Xavi? Montoya in for Alves? Not good; the board has been sitting on it's ass for far too long and the defensive issues we have and then letting Thiago go.
