I told you beforehand. I have seen no improvements at all in mechanics. They have worked a lot on representation which tricked people off thinking it's different.

Quite few of my friends who got it said that the gameplay is worse than last year and EA might be releasing a patch to revert it to Fifa14 in some aspects.

Ffs can't wait for it tomorrow/Monday bounce

See this is why I didn't want to pay full price for fifa rofl

Gameplay is good. It's just frustrating having shit players & chemistry agains't *bleep* hazard, rooney, sanchez etc...

No idea why i'm even playing this pos game mode that's clearly made for 13 year old cod veterans

I've heard enough good things tbh, LeV is right but UT has always been a joke with kids who have no morals maxing out their parents credit cards and making teams infinitely better than yours, and MT is on a crusade against FIFA because he won't be happy until each of the hundreds of teams on FIFA are replicated perfectly from their real life counterparts.

UT doesnt bother me, I never played but I been around people who have and get the general grasp of it. Dont intrest me.

I just want to play a game which is reasonably like football, I can reasonably change things tactically (not being able to bothers me more than it should) and (this my biggest criticism of FIFA) the goals have some individuality to them. Last FIFA I owned, felt like I could score basically 3-4 different different goals only.

Just get it Dani. PES is coming out in november for some odd reason and if you can't wait till then then might as well get this one.

You can do much more tactically in this one. They have made more options available. Not sure about goals though.

Yeah get it

Play pro clubs, because there's actual teamwork with actual people then so as far as tactics go really the team can play however they please.

The CPU/defending is terrible overall in fifa.

Can see a patch fixing it very soon.

If nothing else, having the option to set my defensive midfielder to "stay back at all times" will make this year's game a much better experience for me. FIFA 14 was so annoying with how it felt the need to have every midfielder run forward; playing as Barcelona and finding Busquets making deep runs beyond Messi into the box was ridiculous.

There's other nice stuff such as being able to instruct forwards to get in behind, to give midfielders freedom to roam and to determine whether your winger will track back or not.

Don't think they've added any new team instructions, though. You can choose from pre-sets i.e. possession, counter, etc. and can change between three strategies in game, but the custom tactics are still the same.

Only reason I am considering it is it is part of the deal to get the PS4 for relatively cheap. I havent even considered PES, dont know anything about this years version. Neither will get played once NBA comes out I guess.

Most ps4s standalone are going for well over 300 atm so you might as well buy it, hell even if you didn't enjoy fifa and sold it you'd still be a winner

Stuff like this is real important to me. For me PES has been miles more detailed tactically and that (plus the unique goalscoring experiences) were the main reasons for my change.

Newest pes is ridiculously deep in a tactical sense Dani, more so than usual.

You should ignore RGs pleas to convert IMO hmm

On the FM debate: I agree that FIFA's career mode is too simple and limited, but that's what makes it appealing to me. I've had a go at FM a while back, and i was instantly put off by the interface. It wasn't user friendly and ain't nobody got time for a 2 hour tutorial. I'm sure FM is superior in its wealth of options, but for a casual guy like me, it's adequate enough and fun.

Besides, i get to manually play any match hmm

I think MT is taking it too far tbh, there's ways of improving it but not to the extremes of FM.

Personally I'd get the matchday experience sorted before you worry about any outside stuff as far as career mode is concerned.

Firstly vastly improve the individualism of the players, it's something that could really improve the experience.

AI talk is obvious but not just the standard stuff, the tactical side of it is very shallow which doesn't help.

I don't mean to bring it up, but in the new pes it has formations and tactics for each team from kick off, in possession and when defending. It vastly changes how game is played tactically and makes playing different teams unique.

That improves the just playing games against CPU part, worry about rest later such as taking tips from NBA2K from how they do their career mode and fixing how transfers are dealt with.

But that can come later, if they improved the just playing football matches against CPU by doing the things I said it wouldn't be anywhere near as boring.

If FIFA sucks mole I can always just buy PES whenever it comes out I guess.

Seeing as I have to wait till Nov, I can give FIFA a solid couple months of my judgement.
