to be fair he did not play in that many knock out games, what with real being kicked out by Lyon every year for almost a decade.

Not that you care but Ronaldo this season always ices his knee after games as a precaution. He's been doing it since the start of the season.

It would be a shame to see him get some long term effect or not be at 100% for the rest of his career without ronaldo the unnofficial rival between him and messi or barcelona and real madrid would be very boring.

cr wasn't garbage wtf? he was clearly trying to link up more and put in the final pass, its not his thing clearly, but if he continues like this, he will surely improve in due time, i know he is capable because he is just too talented, and he can just ask benz for tips

cmon he was pretty crap, tried to link up play but stuffed up alot. Turn the ball over heaps, only thing he did right was scoring the pen.

Saying that, did like seeing him trying to link up play instead of taking pot shots like he use to. Might take a bit of time to get use to but he'll improve Thumbs up

He's evolving... he's trying to make the right plays. He's not used to being unselfish so his passing is just a tad off. I will never, ever criticize a play for trying to do the right thing. I hope CR keeps it up. It'll click soon enough.

i can understand cr's needs to improve his link play and final passes tbh, the football madrid are playing now is very technical, with quick pinpoint passing.

its coming together well and that mainly due to isco,kroos,modric,james,marcelo, and benzema, being naturals at either or both, and cr of course wants to be the centre of this style and this is very good it shows he really believes in carlo and his teammates.... he had the right ideas tbh just rushed it

this will give the team a massive advantage if cr cut his bad decisions making in half, and actually put in some complete performances consistently and not just scoring, everyone on the team is performing, with legit performances and not mindless running and shooting, bale better fall in and get with the program..... think on the ball and ahead of the play off it

22 goals for CR so far this season :bow:

His movement and touch were very meh yesterday which is unusual for him but despite that he was still reliable from the spot as always and he kept the counter alive for Benzema's goal. He even put in a defensive shift during periods of the game.

I felt he looked half a step behind in most of the plays which was weird but overall, while not great, he played good.

All I really wanted from him is to be less selfish in the big games, he used to play all nice and all unselfish-like, untill a classico or something comes up, and he turns on his selfish mode again. I'm not worried about the missed passes, since he showed before he's capable of better.

@ Valkyrja: Best crosser in the world, alongside best midfielder in the world (aka Kroos), best LCM in the wirld (isco) next to best LB in the world? :coffee:
