Why would United sack him NOW when there is only 3/4 games left and they are mathematically out of top 5????

I think he should have been given another season to get rid of the dead weight and sign fresh players. I for one don't think he was sacked because of the results but because he probably fell out by more than half of the players. In that instance you either sell the players or sack the coach, United did the latter

So sad to see him go so early

I am hearing that now that it is mathmetically impossible for Man Utd to finish in the Top 4, Moyes has failed key performance related objectives which has required United to pay only one year of salary as compensation from Moyes' six year contract instead of five.

van Gaal would be great to be honest, but he'll only be for the short term.

Not sure if RVP will like the appointment either.
