In which month will Moyes get sacked?
Re: David Moyes sacked
M99 wrote:halamadrid2 wrote:Why would United sack him NOW when there is only 3/4 games left and they are mathematically out of top 5????
I think he should have been given another season to get rid of the dead weight and sign fresh players. I for one don't think he was sacked because of the results but because he probably fell out by more than half of the players. In that instance you either sell the players or sack the coach, United did the latter
So sad to see him go so early
I am hearing that now that it is mathmetically impossible for Man Utd to finish in the Top 4, Moyes has failed key performance related objectives which has required United to pay only one year of salary as compensation from Moyes' six year contract instead of five.
So disrespectful from the Club, humiliating him like that to line up their own pockets as if they couldn't have gotten that in the Summer

I really have a faint hope that Klopp would reconsider, however unlikely that is. My ideal candidate for the job.
van Gaal would be great to be honest, but he'll only be for the short term.
Not sure if RVP will like the appointment either.
RVP loves Van Gaal they've been pictured together all week

Re: David Moyes sacked
Gary Neville's reaction to David Moyes' departure:
"As a professional, I believe in managers being given time. I think they should be allowed to complete their work. The whole idea of giving them 3 or 4 or 6 year contracts and then letting them go after 10 months is something foreign to me.
"However, there's no disguising that the football this season has been poor. The results have been poor, as a fan I did not enjoy watching them play and am I sure Moyes didn't either. But in the 80s, Sexton and Atkinson and Sir Alex were all given time through their difficult moments but I guess it's just something that's not gonna happen anymore. And I don't like that about modern football.
"It doesn't matter if it's my club or any other club, I just don't like it and I will continue to defend my position in this. It's not just David Moyes, it's the same story these days with every football manager - they get tossed around, mucked around and disregarded, that just shows the amount of indecency in the modern game."

Re: David Moyes sacked
Di Marzio has said Klopp is only willing to join from 2015. Surely, that's wrong that would mean he would break his contract

Have you actually seen RvP play for Netherlands? Or the current Dutch squad?
Van Gaal would be great for United (he could build another amazing dynasty like he did Ajax, Barca, and I guess Bayern now if he does go there) but RVP won't be the " big boy" at the club. He'll be another player in a system, rather than the main man. And he'll be expected to work and work hard.

Re: David Moyes sacked
Klopp has just signed a new contract this season, if he planned to leave in 2015 or this summer he wouldn't have extended a contract which expired in 2016.

van Persie loves van Gaal, I don't know what this talk is. He'll work hard as he's always done.

Mourinho to Manchester United is the perfect scenario for Sepi , most hated coach for the most hated club football

Re: David Moyes sacked
I'd rather Mourinho there than van Gaal even though there's no chance of it happening. :X
Mourinho will get them short term success sure, but van Gaal lays down the foundations for long (and large) term success.

"News"? Mourinho going straight from Chelsea to United, and especially after 1 season, is more unlikely than Mourinho coming to coach Barca this summer with Tito as assistant coach.

Re: David Moyes sacked
I think it will be Van Gaal...
Probably it's not a case Van Gaal-Tottenham was cooled in last month , it seemed a written scenario but evidently something has changed and surely he prefers Red Devils to Spurs
of course Mourinho is preferred to LVG, , but I am not so convinced he'd leave Chelsea not completing his job began this year...unless he wins the CL and he always leaves a club when it does this

Re: David Moyes sacked
ah this is the reason? infact it was strange his name was not rated (so far) after this year (best European coach this year imo) ... and of course it had nothing to do with Beckham
anyway as neutral I hope in Van Gaal . Next Premier Leaguie would be even more amusing with him , not only for his cleverness as coach but also as personality ... him and Mourinho would go crazy the English media
