Mirotic is a baller, if he is anything like he seems, he is the best player on offer...much better than Shumpert's, Hardaways, Butler's and such like.

I'm not sure. I've watched a fair bit of him. I see him as more of a 4th option on a great team than anything else. He does a variety of things well, but isn't particularly elite at anything.

He might be better than those guys, but I'm not sure he's better than a top 5 pick.

No assurances they can get that, the C's or LA have to get that pick (has to be them because Love aint going to the Bucks or whoever) and then they have to be willing to trade it.

If either get top 3, they aint trading it anyway. Highly doubt Ainge or Mitch is giving up Wiggins for Love, nor Embiid and likely not Parker either.

I would give up anyone past Wiggins/Embid.

Along w/ plenty other role players. I dunno bout Buss, but I think Mitch cares about competing as quick as possible. But more than that, I'm pretty sure Lakers as an organization aren't committed to building through the draft, which means winning can only really be a plus as long as you don't get locked into stupid long term contracts.

He probably wants to leave money on the table for a Westbrook/Durant push at some point, but that's far away.
