Re: Pre World Cup Friendlies Thread
Rossi was good as was Cassano. Sirigu was by far MOTM. Marchisio was great and Veratti did well too.
Very disappointing performance from Immobile. Paletta and Motta looked like jokers. De Sciglio looked like an amateur footballer when trying to attack, defence was fine though. The worst part of the match was obviously the tragic injuries to Montolivo and Aquillani.

Father
De Sciglio had noted unfitness this whole month and hasn't played on the left for quite a while. Understandable.

Turkey making mincemeat of the US defense. No communication or positioning. You can tell these lads haven't played together at all.

Germany almost scored a few seconds after kick-off. I hate "Almost", btw.

Sorry, watching at ARD. Which means ard.de should have a German stream (for German proxy)

Re: Pre World Cup Friendlies Thread
Bradley learned so much from Totti. This is evident in his passing technique, which was good before, but is excellent now. Been good as the trequartista today.

Yeah. The referee should get out some yellows, I think. So far only one guy got booked.

Re: Pre World Cup Friendlies Thread
HT in Joisy. USA looking good up front, mixed bag in the midfield and poor defensively.
It's the positioning that's the big issue. Can't leave any of the teams in our group with anywhere near that type of space.
Oh and Timmy Chandler is not the answer at LB. Just not seeing it.

Re: Pre World Cup Friendlies Thread
Altidore is having a good match so far. He's using his strength well and not giving the Turkish defense any rest when they have the ball. Amazing how much better he looks in system that actually tries to get the ball to the forwards and then support them one they have it.
Also, Reus looks like a bit of a knob with his two different coloured boots.
