Now that he has the chance to do it, I hope he does at least equalise. It would make a better story from this World Cup than him not doing it.

Why? Ronaldo only got the record on his own as FIFA gave an own goal to him. If Klose manages to set a new record it will be all proper goals by the most underrated top striker ever..

Because Ronaldo is one of the best players I ever seen and my favourite player, so if he holds the record, he will be happy. Thats why.

I'm with Dani and Gil here. I will be rooting against Klose as Ronaldo is a player of higher quality and has a bigger legacy in the World Cup. He is one of the all time greats in World Cup history and it is fitting for the record to belong to him.

i think this record will be eqalled/broken by Klose....There is no comparison between Klose and Ronaldo, but then why Klose getting this record will be a big loss for Ronaldo, not clear to me...

TBH although Klose is a great CF ( I don't discuss this) , for me it's strange to think he is the Germany top scorer ever and not Gerd Muller, Rummenigge or Klinsmann ... yes it makes always strange to me . let alone if he becomes the top scorer ever of World Cup in place of Ronaldo.. ....although it is just an individual record .Anyway I think it will be reached by Klose , but I don't hope it.

everyone deserve a good stat, not just for an elite one
people can't just judge how good the player are by stat only, that's only for lazy debater
