I know Spain suck, but after that first game vs Australia I couldnt imagine them keeping a clean sheet vs anyone, let alone an "angry" Spain.

My take on the game before it was, Chile have this game easily if I can trust their defence, but I cant so I dont know how it will end up. There defence was great and in the end, they won relatively easily.

Medel especially was dominant back there.

I'd like to see them against a more direct and pacey attack before i start singing their praises personally.

I know Spain are defending champs and all but they are that in nothing but name and they are many more difficult tests for Chile to come.

Say for example give Neymar etc etc that sort of space they gave Spain and i worry for them.

Agree Mole, we saw against Australia how bad they can be. My picking them in this thread was just for this game, I dont expect it to last. But they did perform very well and it shocked me.

Was the Spain-Chile game played in a city with a cooler climate? I've only watched the first half an hour of my recording thus far, however Chile seemed to have more energy than against Australia where it looked like it was physically difficult to maintain their pressing game which is so integral to shielding their defence. When watching their first game I thought the climate was going to be their undoing as it's extremely difficult to sustain such a high energy game plan however if the schedule takes them to cities which suit their game they could reach the quarters with a good draw.

Yeah, it was in Rio and it's been nowhere near as hot as the north of Brasil.
