Pretty sure Pirlo is injured.

He's injured. But tbh I'd feel bad benching Marchisio who's probably been our best player this season. Hope we rotate them both, making it clear there is no guaranteed starter in this spot for now.

Honestly Pirlo shouldn't play as much as last year anyways. You guys should preserve him for the CL and middle / end of season.

Tbh our entire midfield was vastly overused under Conte, leaving us exhausted in mid-week. Because we had only 4 players Conte would ever confidently use for 3 positions. Plus the 4th player (Marchisio) was the only one who could effectively replace Pirlo in terms of his position. Now we have Asamoah at CM (Evra frees him up as previously our 2nd choice LWB's were *bleep* shit) and we have Pereyra too. So we have plenty of depth to allow us to rotate properly.

Allegri's Autobiography shall be subtitled "The Deception of Pirlo."

In all seriousness it's been an excellent start and he's thus far answered all questions asked of him with an emphatic start. Rotation in the future when Pirlo fully returns will likely be not only ideal but necessary to manage a tough European schedule, particularly given that Roma have improved their depth and have thus far shown that they will bring a lot of grit and determination to their scudetto attempt.

Allegri has done well, but I would hold my horse until Pirlo returns,

why I'd like to see how Pirlo features in this and if we'll keep on playing like we are now if Marchisio sees the bench....

there was a time last season under Conte when Pirlo was injured and Marchisio took his place, if I remember well we were sweeping teams aside left and right winning by 4-0, 4-1, 3-0's and co......

I would like to wait for Pirlo's return to really know who deserves praise....

it's not unusual that an unworthy team sneaks their way into the semi finals thanks to luck of the draw or a  shocking underachievement by a bigger team .
it doesn't make them a european elite team or anywhere near the top 4.

You are comparing Juventus with Lyon, Psv and Schalke? I am not a Juventus supporter, but it seems on many threads you have an unusual dislike for this team.
