All you need is a backup striker and you're done given that Jese is out for a bit and you need more than one guy there as cover.  Bad news for Illaramendi all around though.

Yeah this seems more realistic.

Doubt we will stick Ronaldo on the wing especially after working so hard to minimize his lack of tracking back. Most likely formation for me is a 4-4-2 which he started using towards the end of last season

Losing DiMaria is going to be tough but at least this time we are replacing creativity with creativity and not like last season were we replaced creativity with a strictly goal scoring winger

James is a very good player, a bit of both ozil and dimaria but still very raw. Having both DiMaria and James is going to be explosive but it looks more and more likely that DiMaria will leaves so I have finally resigned to that fact

Can't really see it being a 4-2-3-1, since Ronaldo doesn't track back. For once I'm hoping it's a 4-4-2.
