GL Fantasy Football: 14/15 Season

I like you've got Gayle up front, though, he's in my team at the moment, too. Didn't play that much last season, but his goals-per-minute was still good and seems to be playing a lot in Palace's pre-season now.

For their price, RVP,Yaya and Ramsey are risky gambles to start off the season imo.RVP is sure to do well , but I don't think he's worth the 12.5

I second the Yaya one, the most expensive midfielder now, I don't think he possibly can have as amazing a season as the last one. But Ramsey at 9.0m seems like a good choice.

I made a quick comparison on last season:

Ramsey minutes-per-point-earned 12.06
Yaya minutes-per-point-earned 12.10

So they scored, per minute, almost the same last season, only Ramsey didn't play as much (injuries). Yet they are 2m apart in price this season.

Id say the same about Ramsey,I'm skeptical about him having a season like the last one.

I will start this season like I did in my last, with only 2-3 expensive players and hoping the others give me a lot of $ in the first rounds then I'll use my wildcard and spend on a new lineup with more stars and players who started the season well.

Could well be true, but Ramsey has age on his side, unlike Yaya: the former is yet to enter his peak years, the latter might be past them.

But of course their teams' performances will matter a lot on their individual scores.

Bit sceptical about Ramsey as well. He scored goals because we had both Walcott and Oxlade out for months. Giroud went off form so Ramsey had to step up and we gave him that role.

He will still easily score 10 and assist the same amount. But might not have the same scoring impact. Hope I am wrong though

I usually pick midfielders who score goals.
