The 2014/15 Calcio Saga - Page 9 Empty Re: The 2014/15 Calcio Saga

Post by Vibe Mon Sep 08, 2014 5:24 pm

zizzle wrote:Juventus remain the Serie A club with the biggest revenue, while Inter and Roma have increased their income, but Milan’s fell.

La Gazzetta dello Sport released its findings after the news Real Madrid are the top earning club in the world with €603m in revenue.

Juventus are top of the pile in Italy with an expected €270m-280m for 2014-15, though there will be an extra €50m if they progress past the Champions League group phase.

New Inter President Erick Thohir said his main aim was to raise revenue streams for the club and he is succeeding, raising it to €190m.

On the other hand, the Rossoneri revenue falls to €200m-€210m because they are not in Europe this season.

Napoli are feeling the Champions League pinch, as with their failure to beat Athletic Bilbao in the play-off and consequent bump down to the Europa League, their revenue is expected to be €120m-130m.

That is a drop of €50m from the previous sum, while Roma qualified for the Champions League and therefore leap up to €175m-€180m.

Verona are the most impressive of the smaller clubs, putting together €50m, while Empoli are bottom in Serie A with €25m-€30m if they avoid relegation.

La Gazzetta also published another set of statistics, namely the debtors who owe money to the Serie A clubs.

Inter are owed a remarkable €74m for 2012-13, almost double the sum for second placed Udinese on €40m.

Milan are owed €26m, Roma €23m, Juventus €15m and Napoli just €10m.

Also we are owed that money by who?

Tavecchio is supposedly going to make a rule in which every Italian club has to have 6 Italians in the starting lineup.

Loool what a bullshit rofl

so Serie A is declined and he wants to improve the situation filling the teams with Italian players when the last generation of Italian players is mediocre Laughing

oh yes, Serie A will improve with Caldirola and Battocchio as starter... we will become as Turkish league lol

And anyway , it is Not legal.

According Treaty of the European Union you CAN'T make distinctions between EU players  ( how do you say "comunitario" ? hmm ) and  Italian players
so yes in that case Argentinian players with Italian passport must be count as Italians , or for exampleSpanish or French players counts as Italians. The EU and its treaties  can't please everyone, but it exists and Tavecchio must taking note of it

Nth confirmation that Tavecchio has a   mentality totally retrograde , nth confirmation that he was the  worst possible president for FIGC

He thinks to live in 30s years, under fascism  , I have another confirmation after his  old words

anyway about the delirous idea of Tavecchio, not just Inter has few Italians in Serie A ... it's a false myth :coffee:

Inter
Osvaldo
Andreolli
D'Ambrosio
Ranocchia

Fiorentina
Pasqual
Aquilani
Bernardeschi
Rossi (RIP)

Napoli
Insigne
Mesto
Maggio
Jorginho

just to say other 2 important clubs. Hellas Verona has also just 4 ( Brivio Toni Sala Agostini ) and I haven't time to look for the other clubs but maybe just Juve and Sassuolo have a good number of Italians Laughing

It would be a problem for the whole Serie A. Problem not realizable anyway

some of the players signed the contract before we implemented salary caps (salary caps only happened after the likes of zlatan and thiago silva left) and some did extend contract splitting their salaries but mexes didnt.

also we have problems getting rid of players who earn more and is reluctant to leave. we are still paying nocerino;s salary, and robinho's half of salary.

i think after 2-3 years our wage report will be much better.

yes mexes, de jong although de jong is currently in negotiation of contract extention. he is asking for 3.5 million for 3 years i think but milan are negotiation for extention for 2 years with 3 million plus bonuses. i hope de jong gets what he wants because he really deserves it.

mexes though he is a pain. he is not even a second choice CB right now.

The truth about Milan's wage bill is that all the wages are just higher than other clubs players across the board. Of the top earners, the only real anomalies are Mexes and Essien.

The problem is that Muntari, Zapata, Pazzini, Alex, Rami, Honda, Menez, Armero, Bonera, Zaccardo, etc. are all earning 0.5-1.5 million more than they should be. And I have no idea how any non-starter who is not a striker can be allowed to earn more than 1 mil in wages a year, 1.5 mil max.
