I knew Lacazette from Football Manager. Good to see him doing well.

Do you suppose Monaco will finish among CL places!!! I can't see PSG finishing outside CL places, so if Monaco does finish in T3; that would at the expense of either Marseille ( ) or Lyon. These two are currently NINE & SEVEN points ahead of Monaco. But there's 19 more games to go.

Just saw that Michy Bat scored in his first start. How well did he play Sports? Apparently he was given a go at #10 and did a decent job.

Btw, just read that Imbula is eligible for Belgium (by birth) yet that moron Wilmots refused to call him up.

Imbula is very overrated right now... he looked very poor every time he played with France U23 this year. He's doing well in the Bielsa system because the lines are so close and the team plays total football. Whenever he's had to manage larger space though, he's just not very good. He's basically a Kondogbia clone.

Bat is good... has talent. Played well and, interestingly, they had natural understanding between he and Gignac. They each played the 9 and 9,5 role 50/50. OM played a true classic 442 in this last game and it looked good.

Personally, i love the 442. But it requires that the mids on the edges sacrifice for the team and work hard. Given there are so many lazy players out there right now, it's hard to implement.

But again, Bat is good and looked good. I'm high on him.

Oh and Imbula was called up and he refused by Belgium.  He said on French TV (TF1) that he was going to give France a chance to call him up until 12 months before the Euro.  If by then he doesn't get called and Belgium still wants him, he would consider Belgium.

Deschamps is going to call Imbula and Fekir though...  he's not stupid.  We're playing all friendlies and it doesn't hurt.

Great news is that Ntep was a guest on Canal + last night and said he will wait for France NT callup no matter what it takes and would not play for Cameroon (sorry Nick).  Didn't realize he got his baccalaureat with the "Bien" accreditation in Economics (Bac B).... he scored in the top 10% of everyone in the country in his specialty ffs  Dude was very, very well spoken.

Hearing good things about Jordan Amavi. People saying he could be the next Evra.

He's pretty good.  Lucas ripped him a new one though when PSG played Nice  Thankfully, Cavani was missing everything so the score wasn't bad. He got better as the game went further on.

20 years old and this is his first full season as a regular.  Has some growing pains to go through.

Moura is really having a good season. Better than Cavani and Lavezzi. Great assist to Ibra tonight.

I thought that Lucas, Silva, and Verratti were PSG's best players. Luiz looked very bad, not a good way to start off the year as one of the 4 best defenders in the world.

Digne is useless, Motta was really bad. I think Matuidi is still injured.

Well, Kjaer plays for a super defensive team. They take no risks at all, spend most of their times defending so the quality that he has shines through for them. They have one of the best defences in the league and he is being highlighted for that.

I always thought he was food for teams that sit deep, just struggled with high defenses. Analogous to Walter Samuel.

Kinda weird since Ntep usually plays on the left, no? Would probably go with Lucas Moura and Ntep for the wide players. Otherwise don't see much wrong with it.

Ntep has been a monster for all of 2014... He's just as good as Lucas even now and Lucas wasn't any good the first part of CY 2014.

Pastore and N'Kouluo are the surprising ones for me. Matuidi MUST be in there and Silva, despite falling off, is quite a bit better than N'Koulou still lol.

I know they scored 4 today but why has PSG scored so few goals this season? My first time watching them and aside from that team move for Pastore's winner they were completely toothless outside set pieces.
