He also worked on official guide

been watchng EnB for years now

watch his new eps every day

no pun, but it's been epic to see him go from a regular fan like us to going out for dinner with the game creator and working on the guides. great guy.

Yeah me too, thanks to him my appreciation for Souls games increased 10 fold, make me read every item description & looking for clues. It's even more awesome to see out his journey and struggle in life with his Japanese wife and kid.

I made a vow to myself that I will not log in to GL until I kill Gascoigne.

I keep my vows.

Went back to the sewers and rekt the giant rats, pos fat pig, crows and water crawlers since I lost all the Blood Echoes from them due to Gascoigne. Level 18 now and bought the Yharnam Hunter clothes.

Figured out a great strategy to make the fight against Gascoigne easier. There are some stairs to the gate and near that is a ledge that leads to a small rooftop where there is a body with an item on it. I repeatedly kept on going there and Gascoigne followed me. As soon as he drops in that rooftop, Heavy attack+normal attack and then dodge the fck away. It takes him quite some time to follow you and he can't shoot you either so it's a good time to take blood vials too. Did that and used the gravestones as cover too but that strategy is much better than gravestones as I died countless times due to dodging straight into a stone and getting blocked and then rekt. Still I managed to do some great damage wit heavy attacks on the stones.

Once he turns wolf it's basically dodge left or right when he's attacking and then relentlessly attack him when his attacks are over. Nearly cried when I died after putting him on 1% health and then he one hit me. Still it was not that hard, I was just using a totally wrong strategy against him.

I've played difficult games (Ninja Gaiden series) but this game...................

I am getting my ass kicked so much it's unreal. It took me about 20 mins to get past that first Wolf-like beast.

Ah.

Go to the hunters dream, and there you will be given a weapon.

Don't worry, this is also my first time playing a game like this lol. I went without a weapon too after my mate trolled me. But then found out you get a weapon in hunters dream which makes it easy.

you pick up on any of the stuff inspired by berserk, RG? not as much as in the dark souls series but still quite a lot of nods to the series, the creator is a massive fan of Berserk.

Now that I think about it. A LOT of the boss designs are very similar to the ones in berserk lol. I am sure I've seen Gat's sword in the game.

Regarding the ending. Should I save the game file before talking to Gurhman? Want to do all 3 endings.

A friend of mine (huge Souls expert) made me look really stupid. I was telling everyone how you have to die so you can get to Hunters Dream and get the weapons and he said not really. I was like of course you have to die and then he just ran past the werewolf out of the clinic, climbed the ladder, lit the first lamp and went to Hunters Dream.

Surely this was a glitch. Stayed under her body(no homo) all the time and she couldn't even touch me? Laughing R2 all the way and won within 2 minutes without using a single vial.

Found the way into upper cathedral ward.

Celestial Emissary might as well have given up instead of putting that pathetic show.

Facing Ebrietas now. Heard she is the most difficult boss?

Might get DS2 eventually. Bloodborne is easily one of my fav games of all time lol.

LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

This can't be real Laughing

smashed her within 80 seconds. Surely the fight was glitched somehow

All I did was, went near her. Went under her arms n legs and kept R2 full power with the Axe. She tried moving back but i was under her instantly. She mashed her head down but i kept dodging sideways. She was utterly useless. Used 2 vials in total.

Think I levelled up too much.

I wrecked her too when I leveled up a lot, only thing she had was these instant kill laser when she gets to 10%.

You just have the last couple of dungeons left? last two defiled bosses just take a long time since they have so much HP, think you'll easily get platinum if you're going for it.

Layer 2 Defiled boss is the hardest thing you have left I think, but I found a good strategy that made me use like four vials. Will let you know if you have a hard time, just be patient tbh.
