Not hating just my opinion that he's wildly inconsistent and nowhere near as good as some hype him to be.

Would much rather start Lallana if I was a Liverpool fan fitness permitted.

The truth can be harsh I know, funny that the players I have been accused of hating on none of them start now for Liverpool.

I predict Coutinho will eventually fall in line, unless he improves substantially.

Worst case scenario he scores around 10 goals this season and plays second fiddle to Daniel and we ship him out for a small loss next summer to some midtable Serie A team.

I just don't see how the risks outweigh the rewards in this situation.

Dude is massivly over rated. Take away his PK's and he's just an average scorer, who's really inconcistant and had allot of behavious issues while he was in England. Plus his work rate is really questionable, which is something Suarez did in over drive. Dude spends a big chunk of matches just ball watching and not really doing anything unless he is handed the ball. Then will have like one random match where he actually tries.

that said, he didn't cost a whole bunch and pool now has more depth in the bench

You know, after seeing Balotelli over the years, I kind of liken him to Townsend. You can see the ability he has, really. Townsend has great dribbling actually, he's got pace, he's fairly two footed and he's got a decent shot. But watching him he has some bad drawbacks (selfishness, decision making). I kind of assumed he would finally get over them sometime, but he never really does, and I keep waiting for his breakout season.

Recently I realized he won't get over them and he's just shit.

Balotelli is a bit like that, but his shit is decent enough to make it at a top club- sort of.

I'm sorry but when your fallback option is a 40 year old Eto'o, you take a punt at Balo for 16m. Fits right into our wage structure as well unlike Falcao who alone would make almost as much as the rest of the starting XI.

i dont know if balotelli gave full 100% to milan or not... so im not quite sad about him leaving. with him .... we all know u never know what ur gonna get. and EPL is more hostile towards him...

sad part is that that we are just potentially selling him for 20 million.. could or should have milked more out of him!!

Who saw Milan matches, not just HL , knows he diidn't improve . but even regressed.

Then okay, he can grow under Rodgers, he is an excellet manager to develop offensive players, but surely a LFC fan must hope that Balotelli will not be same player seen to Milan.

You haven't to think Balotelli was crap because the team was mediocre.
The team was mediocre also because Balotelli played as mediocre.
