I didn't follow the game pre release.

Just saying, didn't notice any micro transactions stuff before ES mentioned it. If he didn't say anything I wouldn't have known.

It didn't seem any worse than Dead Space 2 and 3 in that regard, fair enough if they scrapped a lot of the game I wasn't aware of it.

The final boss fight was supposed to be the first boss fight of the game lmao.

Other things were apparent too, like how limited the takedown animations were, there being only one hub city, repetitive environments, important story missions being DLC, side missions taking place in the same environment as main mission

They essentially partitioned half the game for Deus Ex 3, as per Ubisoft's request. There was supposed to be 2 more hub spaces, the last boss wasn't supposed to be the last boss. The story was unfinished, it ended abruptly without much context. Ubi forced them to implement the paid Praxis points thing, plus that dodgy multiplayer mode that was going to have some sort of microtransactioms? Cant remember as i never touch that mode.

Jim Sterling actually knows someone there at Eidos who fed him this. Says they actually had to stop development for 6 months before release to implement all of Ubisoft's request. Lots of other stuff i cant quite remember atm.

Its still a great game in its own right, also has, imo, one of the best OSTs in recent years.

Might try Batman, don't usually like telltale games but maybe my interest will hold with a game about a character and world I care about.

Didn't you like The Wolf Among us? The Borderlands game was alright. I played the Game of Thrones one for a little while, but it bored the hell out of me. Did anyone here complete it? If yes, is it worth playing through to the end? I hate to sound like Firenze, but TT: Game of Thrones literally made me fall asleep once, and I stopped playing it after only advancing about an hour through it.

Never played it, think M99 likes it though.

I just never liked the telltale stuff I have played before, not that I'm against that style of storytelling as I love Life is Strange.

I just consider the Telltale stuff I have tried to be generally bad games.
