Nah RM won't even go full force against pool, they don't even need the win. I predict small win for RM

Liverpool needs to get the tactics right and we should be just fine...difference in quality should not come into picture so obviously imo; at least performance wise. Result wise, you can never say anything

I cant see Rodgers going for a diamond and rightfully so. It will probably be a 4-3-3. Playing diamond against speedy and tricky wingers like ronaldo is very risky given the fullback options Liverpool have.

I don't think there's a whole lot of mystery in terms of tactics in this game. Madrid is coming out with a 433 with James replacing Bale on the right and Isco replacing James in the mid. We'll look like this:

Carvajal-Pepe-Varane-Marcelo
Modric-Kroos-Isco
James-Benzema-CR7

With James in instead of Bale, i'd expect for Benz to play more of a 9 role compared to usual and allow James to do the playmaking. Varane is not as good playing LCB as he is a RCB... but he's still good there.

Pretty much this. We might see Pepe play as LCB instead of Varane but other than that the line up picks itself.

As good as those two were, it was actually Iker who was the clear MoTM. Could have been 7 or 8 without him.

Against Madrid, it comes down to how long you can resist us scoring or if you score first... if we get the first goal and early, things tend to get ugly for the opponent other than the very early part of the season when we couldn't stop my grandmother from scoring a goal

Other wildcard is Iker... he can be equally poor as he can be brilliant these days. He sometimes gifts goals to the opponent.

I personally never expect a blowout/easy win in CL away games anywhere, let alone at Anfield. I'd take any win... whatever the score.

what's funny is that, this Liverpool game was one of his usual games at that time. In our dark age he was putting MOM performances every match. He was literally unplayable.
