Lovely performance from Toure. Had Cristiano firmly in his pocket for most of the match. Liverpool, in general, played decent. Got into good spaces and all that but their attack was just, ugh, lacking. 4 shots all match when you need at least a draw is very poor.

Rodgers is a genius tbh. Managed to make that defeat look maximally good by fielding a B team.

real Madrid treated the game like a practice match tbf. Had it been last 16, it would have been a cricket score.

Their players treated LFC with no respect, it was like you and your adult mates playing with your 6 year old brother and his group of friends. Toying with them and holding back from destroying them incase you hurt his/their feelings.

CR had a rare off night :/

Toure was Liverpool's best player, and looks head and shoulders above their other defenders. Toure, lads fair play to him.

Only man I am proud of is Toure and Moreno as the rest did not perform as per usual. Cannot even bother to analyze this match as it is a beacon of our downfall this season.

To make things a bit worse, Gerrard and Sterling came on and I genuinely believe they slowed down Liverpool's game more.

Didn't think Real played like it was a practice match honestly. I saw determined and focused guys. Toure, Mingolet and sometimes Moreno honestly stepped up. And with Ronaldo having a poor game, it proved to be the telling factors. Oh and Liverpool's lack of credible final third action. 4 shots in a game where a result was very needed. Not cool man, not cool.

Lol at madrid not taking the match seriously..well, certainly not ronaldo,..not with the cl record in sight and moreso with messi playing tomorrow too. I can bet my ass this is the one game cr7 put in the most effort in this season, mentally at least.. Plus the fact that he bragged that he'll beat messi to the record a couple of weeks ago..i even suspect he was secretly chasing messi's 22 match scoring streak *coffee*. i can only imagine the pain he must be feeling right now.

Piss pooor  match from Liverpool. It's the first time I see a team playing for a loss, killing the game and passing at the back while they're loosing, in a championship where points matters more than amount of goals conceded.

I think after they saw that Madrid wasn't putting too much effort in this (They didn't play a practice match, but they didn't play with too intent at all), and they saw Basel were cruising in their match, they should've played for at least a draw.

But playing and hoping for a lose is very poor, I didn't enjoy the match at all. =/

As a Liverpool fan I am embarrassed that we have come down to such a low level where we are content with being absolutely shit and losing and being proud that it's only 1-0.

With our current form and Madrid's current form, I, as a fan who sits on his ass on his couch, would have probably taken this result at the start of the match. Certainly NOT happy that our players and our manager thought the same way. This is *bleep* Liverpool FC, if you wear the shirt then you go into every match and expect to win. Embarrassing, should all be stripped off their wages for the month.
