Re: Champions League 2014/15 | Group B
Would have preferred Nacho over Arbeloa but the most important things is that at least one of our players is being rested for next week.
We need to sub Kroos and James too who have played alot
Is Medran on the bench anyone?

Poor Zizou... we poached his entire squad for the US tour in August and now we're poaching his players during the season The talent is shatty enough at Castilla this year that we should let them be. It's not like any of them have any prayer of playing in these games...

It is very worrisome. I hope Papa Arbeloa has some cover. He would most definitely need it.

Is it Sky policy to have a panel of one team's ex players or do they mix and match during BPL coverage?

All UK pundits and announcers are Liverpool jockers... it's just the way it is. Same for EPL games so it's not just reserved to CL.

Re: Champions League 2014/15 | Group B
Good game for the neutrals i guess, The ones that wanted Liverpool to get shafted got 3 in the starting, The ones who hoped Liverpool would do decently kept a second half clean sheet.
Pleased with Coutinho's and Sterling's performance. Our striker situation is so dire that we chose to play with a false 9 rather than a striker. Hopefully Sturridge is back for the second leg (bleak), We might have some luck against that hopeless Real midfield while they try defending.
As for the game, It was a very usual Liverpool game. Real was excellent, Ronaldo's goal was unstoppable. Karim's header was immaculately placed, He wouldnt have scored if it was anywhere else. The third was pure shittiness by Mignolet. Which was expected tbh. Set pieces, Average keeper and a useless striker the usual issues.
Outplayed by a far superior team , Hopefully we give a better run out if Danny's back in the return game.
and hah! You couldnt score 4
And yeah Ludo won! We might still qualify for the second stage though our team completely full of holes.

Re: Champions League 2014/15 | Group B
atm Ludogorets definitely the 2nd best team of this group , they are playing a good CL. Enough underrated team at the beginning , most ppl thought they would have been 4rd easily.

People who underrated Ludogorets clearly did not watch them throughout the qualification rounds.

Re: Champions League 2014/15 | Group B
I haven't still understood Lambert ' s signing tbh. BR prefers to play with no CFs as in 2nd half than Lambert. Obliged to insist on Balotelli ( he would be benched soon with Sturridge back ) because he doesn't rate Lambert... I don't have understood the reason to have him signed so .. just last 10 reasons for headers ?
