Brook Lopez is interesting. Would take him on the Celtics but... he's got a player option after the year. Ainge won't trade to rent him. Factor in he's injury prone and I wouldn't give up too much.

I'd give up Olynyk(GMs think much higher of him than I do) and one or two 2nd rounders for him. Or a package around Jeff Green, that's about it.

only played 16min for 6 points last night but still

67% FG / 67% 3pt for 13.7ppg in 21mpg over the last 6.

OKC 5-1 in those games.

Needs to stay consistent though, definitely been his biggest issue first two years.

Rivalries (I use that term VERY loosely) in the NBA, there's a distinct difference between the conferences.

You got TEAM rivalries out West.
In the East, it's LeBron Vs the East. (Been like that for years now)

Tbf I wouldn't say it's Lebron vs the East, it's Lebron vs the conferences not next best player.

Before Rose went down it was all about him vs Lebron, before that it was Paul Pierce and lately it was Paul George.

Tbh Rivalries as a whole have pretty much gone from the NBA, there are very few exceptions. Part of it being because there's more players joining others through free agency, instead of trying to go against those players.

The mentality of the players is just different.

Brook's situation is interesting.

The problem is we dont really know everyone who is trying to do well and who is trying to suck.

For example, the Piston really need a wing and have too many bigs...maybe they can get Joe Johnson..but are they trying to improve? Do they want to add more salary?

Again, the Lakers could do with D-Will but they didnt even try to sign Thomas, Bledsoe or anyone useful in the summer...because they are obviously trying to suck.

What are the Knicks trying to do? Lopez would obviously be a help there.

Suns need a big, have one too many guards in my opinion..

To add to what Mole said. Its hard to have rivalry when everyone sucks.

Not to harp on the golden days, but why did Jordan have these battles? Because the Celtics, Knicks and Pistons were VERY tough teams.

Now, we have the Bulls who have a cripple whos not even sure he wants to play ball and....?

Bulls would be the best fit I think. They need shooting and Thibs can hide him defensively.

Right now as strange as it sounds I think Bulls need some perimeter defence.

Their offence has been fine so far but their defence has really let them down.

You can never have enough shooting but their perimeter D is effed if Butler isn't on the court

that's true, but Thibodeau schemes so well his defenses are always gonna be top 10-15 in the league. Adding an elite shooter will only help out Pau and Noah imo
