You wanna sell Ronaldo, Modric, Kroos and Isco too then? Because all of them were utterly shite after the 2nd goal.

It wasn't just because of Bale you lost, the entire team other than maybe Benzema and Marcelo packed it after the 2nd goal. Of course that doesn't change the fact Bale is crap and has been for a long time, but if you think he's the sole reason you lost and everything will magically change in this game if you played someone else you are sadly mistaken.

sorry mole but james in for bale a whole lot of difference, he is just too out of his depth and with no fluke goal, he is looking below average who would a thought?

Not if he packed it in like everyone else it wouldn't, the attitude post Suarez goal was disgusting tbh.

Bale is the problem though Mole because he's so one dimensional... and he's not even dominant at that dimension. So the team ends up playing with 10 men effectively if he can't get his one dimension working.

That's why guys are tired... there's no buildup or defense on Bale's side. The other players have to work extra hard as a result.

If Bale wasn't playing, we'd put Isco up front and play a midfield with Lucas Silva... which would give us that ball recovering mid we desperately need WITHOUT losing creativity AND get better spacing and real estate usage.

That's fair enough, i was just making the point that most of the team was really bad post Suarez goal it really looked like they gave up.

You know me well enough to not justify this loss down to Bale only. Of course i am not doing that.

I look at the big picture, i look at the place that he occupies in the team in terms of how much pressure he puts on the manager. Carlo cant even sub him because he is personally endorsed by Perez. Not to mention how poor he is football speaking, how one dimensional he makes us as a team. I used to think CR was kind of an issue, but Bale is a nightmare.

Nah, i am pretty sure i have never quite rated him, he is shite, completely shite. the world in which perez thinks Bale will take over CR and lead madrid is a fantasy.

They just get gased Mole because they're compensating for Bale almost every game... with Isco having a poor game, they were compensating for two players in this one and that just killed them. You can't ask Benz to play midfielder and forward all game and same with Marcelo being a defender and CM.

Doesn't help that Carlo plays the starting XI to death either. With this being a World Cup year and having the Club World Cup, we needed some rotation. Never got it.

you guys had a weeks rest whereas we played a difficult match Wednesday against city.

i understand the overall effects of a year's hardwork but today you guys had the advantage in terms of who is tired.

Apart from Ronaldo, Marcelo and Bale our players could barely run after the 70-80th mark. Especially Kroos.

That's what I was thinking too lol.

Compared to Bale Ronaldo is a complete footballer. God knows I don't like Ronaldo that much but he still is existing in a dimension several layers higher than a player like Bale lol.

Donuts... imagine playing 10 v 11 almost every game, which is what is happening. Bale usually never defends either (i think i actually saw him defend once or twice tonight). So you have Benz and CR killing themselves to find room since they're only two on the attack effectively, the midfield can pretty much forget Bale's side for help either offensively or defensively and... so instead of two lines of 4 on defense, you're looking at 4 and 3.

We have looked more and more tired as a result. It's a nightmare...

pretty much, CR is in a different dimension, technically speaking first and foremost, and even intelligence wise, and you know i dont rate CR as a sublimely smart player.

Bale is only effective in one kind of game, where as most attackers find ways to influence games against different types of team.

But wait for next week, we play some week team, bale will score and pump his fists in the air, cover his ears as if to quiet the critics. no lads, you aint Reus, you are just some shit welsh player

CR has only a couple of dimensions... but he's dominant at them. If he's on, he's on and there's nothing you can do about it. What drives me crazy is that his play is entirely focused on himself, success or fail. Only recently has he gotten his teammates more involved because he's not as dominant... he's smart enough to realize he needs help.

I used to think CR was a complete football idiot. But now, i realize that he is smart in his super egomaniac kind of way Laughing
