He's still a good player, just needs someone agile like Lahm or Modric next to him to carry the ball imo.

all i have to say is thank *bleep* Bayern chose Pep and his style to replace Heynckes. Jupp's team was a perfect machine that could have dominated Europe for years.

No they couldn't lol, there's a thing called motivation and teams adjusting to you as well as building teams designed to defeat you.

There's a reason no team has won the CL back to back, it's not that simple. That Bayern team wasn't as dominant as Pep's Barca and quite frankly they were lucky to win the final.

Amusing that people would have just allowed Bayern to continue to dominate and not build teams designed to beat them. They needed to change, that hasn't been the problem it's the execution of the plan that was the problem last season.

Well, during the football break, the TV is full of winter sports in Germany (with full of I mean up to 10 hours per day in free TV) as people like their dose of biathlon, alpine skiing, ski-jumping, luge, bobsleigh etc. This may sound alien especially to Britons, who don't really have a record of winter sports, but here that stuff is really big.

Glad I got to see this match, and what a surprised, but then Wolfsburg has been quite awesome for a while now I think? I thought De Bruyne at the WC for Belgium which is the first time I really seen him play since I dont watch full games much now, but I thought hes an awesome all round player, and this game confirmed it.

For the good of the league hopefully Wolfsburg can keep it u pand dont let Bayern buy De Bruyne Razz Anyone know why Mou let him leave Chelsea? Another one of those strange scenario of a player not fitting the EPL but does well in another league?

Once again, Pep's styles flaw and weakness exposed. All again they held such a high line, even beyond the half line knowing they would be outpaced if the final ball gets past their relatively slow defenders, Pep is too inflexible I think.

Squee! Yann Sommer kept another clean sheet - now he is Bundesliga Nr.1 in save percentage again! He has 82.42% after 17 matches which will only rise after today and Manu Neuer dropped to 81.82% due to the debacle of yesterday.

He almost bottled it with that failed attempt to punch the ball away in the last minute's corner. He and BMG were lucky to escape with the 0-1, tbh, I would've scored that too.

What? Drawing away at Leverkusen is an excellent result for a relegation contender. It's Leverkusen who missed a huge opportunity and got surpassed by RDM and Gladbach

Well, Dortmund and Leverkusen successfully neutralized each other. And at least there was no unlucky last minute loss for Dortmund this time.

Hamburg are in deep shit as well, lost at home to Cologne and are just 1 point above Dortmund. Can't even remember when they won the last time, hopefully BL legend Ivica Olic has come to the rescue.

Well, if you look at the table

There are only 3 points from place 18 to 12, so all is not yet lost for Dortmund.
