Hm. I can try, but rest assured, it's not easy. I actually tried, but somehow it never really worked out. -_-'

The season without Europe next year will hurt financially, though. But Watzge said two seasons ago already that they could now take the hit of missing Europe for one or two seasons. I hope he wasn't just boasting.

1 hour left to Buyern-S04. Buyern still have to recover from the 4-1 trashing against Wolfsburg and have close to 0 self-esteem while Schalke are on a 3 away wins streak and RDM is unbeaten against Guardiola. I expect Schalke to nick a 1-0 win with KJH scoring an early goal and succesfully protect their lead after that.
Gladbach and Wolfsburg are also playing tonight.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
What a season he's having. RWO power, do you think he's better than 11/12 Reus?
On another note KJH received a red card in the previous matchday and thats why he hasnt scored an early goal and Schalke are not leading 1-0 yet. I'm confident that RDM will figure something out for the second half

Robben scoring a header froma corner
Im not worried, Bayern have put all their efforts to not suffer from being 10men and are exhausted and will crumble like they did with City.

If Huntelaar was playing instead of that elderly mans Chuba Akpom Schalke would have scored that penalty and won

Well, Patrick Herrmann is rather limited when compared with Marco Reus, but he gets his thing done.Katy Perry wrote:What a season he's having. RWO power, do you think he's better than 11/12 Reus?
BTW, Gladbach played a veritable "Grottenkick" today, but they still managed to win 1:0. Or as one journalist wrote: "Gladbach currently play with merciless efficiency - they usually score only one goal, but they have a goalkeeper that helps them to win noneless" ^^

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Guardiola remains clueless when it comes to beating RDM. Lost one and drew one and got knocked out from CL with a much superior Barca and drew at home with a much superior Bayern.
What a fantastic manager RDM is, he should've been given the Arsene "I'll stay for eternity" Wenger treatment at Chelsea. Give him two better CMs than *bleep* Boateng and he'll be up there with Bayern and Wolfsburg fighting for the title.

If you're going to come here and talk shit about "buyern" and that disgrace of a manager Di Matteo, at least keep the troll avatar you're supposed to show for about another 2 1/2 weeks.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
IMO Pep's formation doesn't make sense with the way he wants to play. Seems like after last season he's going for more defensive solidity with that 3 man backline + Xabi + Basti but that's a textbook counterattacking formation. If he uses that formation but still wants to play proactive possession + highline it's sort of useless to have those 2 in the middle + 3 defenders. Basti and Xabi are physical but slow and unagile. Either you play proactively with skillful, agile techno midgets and they press like maniacs high up the pitch or you play with slow, physical defensive midfielders and you let them sit deeper. All IMO, obviously I have no real clue about football tactics.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I think it's not rare that an attacker who is 1on1 against Neuer is scared by him and in a psychological disadvantage. I mean a lot of times you see 1on1 missed, even penalties, not because Neuer does a great save, but because the attacker does a terrible attempt as if it was the first time he ever played football.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Hans, what do you think will happen if Dortmund get relegated? I mean, I know, massive exodus from the players, but would Klopp stay and would the fans fill the SIP even in Zweiteliga?

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Honestly I cannot imagine they'll get relegated. What's happening now is already the most outrageous thing I think I have witnessed in football.
If they do not collect some points soon and keep losing games I think Klopp will resign and make way.
Either way I don't think they'll really get relegated. Not yet imaginable for me, even if of course factually they are on course.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I think if it was only one season in the 2nd flight, the stadium will remain sold out to the last seat in each and every match, after that, who knows. But they'Re not a fickle bunch.
I doubt it will come to that. I expect Klopp to stay either way.
