Re: The Bundesliga Thread
As a longtime RDM04 supporter I really hoped this was the year when Dortmund was going to be relegated, but sadly that's out of the window now. At least they're 6 easy points for 15/16 Bundes.
What would happen if they're still in a relegation battle and go far in the CL, would they do a Wigan 2013 and compromise the league in order to win the cup or they'd prioritize escaping relegation?

Seems like the hate campaign endorsed by rwo and Hans got some supporters amongst the other Bundes teams.Dennis Aogo on Schalke04's official website wrote:That’s true. It’s a pleasant position that we’re in. I believe that currently no team really wants to play against us. We don’t need to and won’t apologise for the points we’ve gained or our style of play. It is very difficult for opponents to create chances against us. It’s not always fun for the other clubs and therefore, every so often the opposing team makes comments about us after the matches. We can live with that. We have the points which are important for us to achieve our goals therefore, we’re not going to start justifying our style of play.

Aubameyang is another Gervinho while Mkhitaryan is no Gotze or Kagawa.
They won consecutive league titles and followed it up with a CL final. There hasn't been a bigger buzz and WW interest in the team in decades and they're one of the most desirable teams in the World at the moment.
They should aim higher. Eriksen was interested and so would many of the WC talents Germany are producing at the moment.
Reus the previous year was an inspired signing these dont feel the same.
Eriksen is overrated..... he's not better than Mkhitaryan and what WC talents are these btw?
Name them and i'll tell you if they are good enough or not or typical Gil on a hype job.

I'm the goat I tell ya.
A little further down that page I'm denouncing the Illaramendi signing.

Bah Gawd...whenever I watch a Wolfsburg game, they always put loads against the opposition. It seems like I have to start supporting them to dethrone Bayern Münich again...since my beloved Dortmund are not doing good

Can't believe GL didn't watch that Wolfsburg-Leverkusen game. Most definitely the craziest fecking game of the season.
What a turn-around for Dost. Playing like he did in the Eredivise right now.

Nah, it's Hamburg doing their usual bend over job at the Allianz Arena. Bayern hardly deserves any credit.

I think it's wonderful to see Thomas Schaaf getting his touch back. Doing fantastic work at Eintracht so far, while he looked pretty burnt out to me in his last years at Bremen.
