Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Well, Gladbach managed to shut out Bayern in both their games, in the EL they were only eliminated by Sevilla on away goals and they usually play best against strong opponents. They lost points in the BL mostly against weaker PTB sides.S wrote:Wolfsburg and BMG may have to get some luck with the draws otherwise i cant possibly see them passing group stages.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Agree with S.
Can see both Wolfsburg and Gladbach exiting Europe in winter, hopefully they manage to stay in EL and get some points for us that way, else it's going to be a problem with Italy breathing down our necks.
League form/performances can't be translated into CL that easily, their players AND managers don't have CL experience.
Remembering the last Wolfsburg CL campaign, as well as Kloppmunds first year..

I dint say they dont have a chance but it will be a difficult scenario for them IF they end in a group of death.
Not just Pot 1 but Pot 2 will be stacked next yr as well.So both teams would be hoping they get some luck with the draws.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
I can see Wolfsburg sucking hard in the CL but BMG might do well if they get in the group stages.

Re: The Bundesliga Thread
Leverkusen will be seeded, yeah. They will go against one of the 5 unseeded teams of the league path.

BTW, LOL@Leverkusen's Hilbert. He was subbed off in the 26th minute and got a yellow card in the 61st minute while sitting (or rather not sitting) on the bench

4th defeat in a row surely would be some kind of record
