Will be interesting to see what happens when SNP takes the Scottish vote. No way in hell they'll form a coalition with the Conservatives but if Labour perform as poorly as they did in the last election in England and Wales (along with losing all of Scotland to SNP) I'm not sure that even combined the two parties will be able to form a majority coalition. England could, quite possibly, be on the brink of a new era of multi-party competition.

There are plenty that will agree with him, to be honest. You see the same with a good portion of the Tea Party members here in the US as well... people believe that sending aid to those facing epidemics of infectious disease, regular seasonal starvation, lack of clean water, etc is not a good use of resources and money if said people live in another country, worship a different deity (or the same deity in a different way), speak a different language, etc.

Hell, plenty of people believe its a poor use of resources to help those in need in the same damned cities or countries as themselves.

I think his point is it is called the national health service, not the international health service. Then again, maybe I'm wrong and he really does just hate sick foreigners. Maybe that's why he married one.

No, his point was that "HIV patients provide a dangerous environment as it is" And Britain should not have to do any foreigners who are HIV positive to add to that. That includes those who come for treatment.

Glad to see every one on the panel uniting against that sick statement.
