A fan in attendance at last night’s WWE Royal Rumble in Philadelphia noted that the heat we heard on TV during the main event was extremely loud in person. He said chatter among fans as they left the Wells Fargo Center was negative and a lot of fans were really upset about Daniel Bryan’s Rumble elimination.

WWE’s Facebook page posted a poll asking fans if they enjoyed the Rumble and as of this writing, over 15,000 have voted “thumbs down” while just over 5,000 have voted “thumbs up.”

Worst PPV card ever. Barely good enough for a jobber PPV, let alone WM.

As of this weekend, the feeling within WWE is that The Undertaker will be wrestling at WrestleMania 31. Top WWE officials likely already know for sure if he'll be there and we should get some sort of official word in the next several weeks.

His opponent is likely to be Bray Wyatt, which is one of the main reasons Wyatt had such a strong showing in the Royal Rumble match.

Mr. Money In The Bank Seth Rollins is expected to wrestle Randy Orton, which leaves Daniel Bryan out in the cold. Wrestling Observer Radio host Bryan Alvarez thinks WWE will be going to the Bryan vs. Sheamus match that was originally scheduled to last year, before those plans got hijacked by the WWE Universe.

Of course, with the unprecedented fan backlash coming out of the Royal Rumble, this card is subject to change. But as of Monday morning, the tentative WrestleMania card will feature:

Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar
Sting vs. Triple H
John Cena vs. Rusev
Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

Imo it's time Bray Wyatt got a huge push. Would have a story from now up until WM, where he takesover the company and it culminates with him becoming champion at WM.

At the end of the day though pushing superstars, whether that be Reigns, Bryan or Bray isn't going to improve the company. They need change their entire model and drastically change the way things are done. Only way that happens is with competition.

Brock x Rock II is infinite times better than Reigns x Brock. 60 days away from WM, and we already know the result for the main event. Seems legit.

Not that Bryan vs Lesnar would have been better. Even in kayfabe that's a laughable match.

Bryan/Lesnar is the best possible match kayfabe wise, David vs Goliath. The guy who conquered the authority and won the main event of WM vs the beast. There's no better match.

In kayfabe Bryan is one of the best wrestlers actually. Last time he lost clean was against Wyatt last year and he was booked like Superman on Wrestlemania too. Besides Eddie Guerrero who was roughly the same size of Bryan beat Lesnar and it did not look ridiculous. Bryan vs Lesnar was booked for Summerslam with Lesnar winning but Bryan got injured and WWE put Cena. And as MT said, the story was there too. Underdog, never lost the title, Authority etc.

Gutted for Ambrose especially. He loses 1000 matches, still is 2nd on merchandise sales on wwe.com and the company is not building him up for the main event at all.

Only people who are going to complain are those who think wrestling should be about size, when it never has or ever should be. It's about different personalities clashing, not sizes.

If there's someone 5ft5 who's over, there's no reason he shouldn't be able to beat someone who's 7ft and over. Size doesn't matter.

I'm aware brah I just find myself not caring, they have always done this lol. It's just there was more talent spread around that people liked so it was quickly forgotten about.

Also the fans who are angry at Reigns are directing their anger at the wrong guy, not his fault he's being pushed too quickly and the lines written for him are awful.

Eddie was much bigger than Bryan, especially in the strength department. He could do things physically that Bryan cannot do, besides it's not like Eddie won that match clean and it should be remembered that Brock wasn't booked anywhere near as strongly as he's booked now.

Eddie was 5'8 220 pounds, Bryan is 5'8 (WWE calls him 5'10) 210 pounds so roughly the same size. Bryan is stronger than he looks, I've seen him German suplex much heavier guys than him. And I did not say Bryan would win clean, it would have been awesome if Undertaker screwed Lesnar like Goldberg did.

Bryan's not exactly small in terms of size, he looks bigger than the guys who are around 6ft. If we want to go the size route, then none of the younger talent in the current WWE would be able to topple Lesnar. Guys like Ambrose, Wyatt, Rollins (not a fan, but they're pushing him) etc aren't exactly bodybuilders.

But fortunately size has never mattered and as silly as WWE's decision making is, even they wouldn't rule out a match because of size difference.
