We do have money yes, in fact more than people realise but we refuse to spend it because the club is run by a load of negative, unambitious assholes.

Nothing to do with him, I was talking about the clubs money which as owner he refuses to release those funds for club matters.
I never have asked him to dip into his own pocket but refusing to release the clubs own funds is a disgrace.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V6
What would be in such a move for a 'top' manager though?
Having to work within the boundaries highhandedly set by some inexpert 'owner' about who are the right players, what is the appropriate squad and budget?
Fighting with Swansea and Stoke-on-Trent 'city' about who can overperform so much as to get the spot just below international qualification?
And all that in a harsh and barren land, up in the gritty North?
I mean I know Newcastle is still just about this side of the Wall, but it's basically wildling country already

I think money can work as an incentive even under those circumstances. Not for everyone, but for some, yea.
And Southampton have shown that you can overthrow those hierarchies even without buying more high profile players than the others but having the right management which said high profile manager would bring.

Wrong thread, RG, B-Mac's Embarrassing Sex Moments vol. 17 is in the off-topic, you should know.
Or if you meant the penalty thing between Mirallas and Baines, they just had a little chat and then Baines just seemed to encourage Mirallas, nothing dramatic about it.
wait
what?

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V6
Cracking game by Liverpool, they pretty much tore apart Chelsea.
Sadly, they usually run out of ideas 10 yards in front of goal, Sterling despite of his fantastic solo goal, is not a very determined goalgetter, and what is that business with Can as RCB. Rarely seen a player look more out of place.
Also, I don't like Markovic at all. How much did they pay for him?
Still they should have won that game by a big margin, and would have won it if Gerrard had buried that one where he hit the post, or if Courtois wouldn't have pulled off that absolutely incredible save against a beam of a shot with his fingertips.
Rodgers
Liverpool playing like Bayern ffs, even some successful if clumsy phases of counterpress.

Re: Barclay's Premier League '14-'15 discussion V6
It is a bit funny how Chelsea have Hazard, Willian and Fabregas in the line-up yet don't even attempt to actually play. Two attempts all game. A good result for them, but they were a little lucky to not lose here. Still, they remain to be the favorites to go to the final, they're just so good at Stamford Bridge. One draw in all competitions for them there this season (against Schalke), all other games wins.
I hope we'll play with that kind of confidence for the rest of the season, haven't seen us that determined yet this season.

sorry, but I always find it funny how people come up with such exact measurements. 7.0/10 you say? And what is "every attribute of footbal"? Can you enumerate?
BTW I'd disagree, I'd say his dribbling is only 6.8.
Seriously, why don't you just say he's a pretty good allrounder or something like that.

That's what i meant and seeing you understood it, I got my point across lulz
He's good at everything but not WC enough that he'll be noticed by the crowd that doesnt give a shit about anything bar goals and assists.
