Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
Don't forget we will be selling some players as well. We could have close to 150mil total after sales. We already sold El Sharaawy for 16 and used part of the cash to get Lapadula. I'd expect we'll conduct similar businesses over the course of the summer
My biggest concern though is with who we will be replacing Bacca with since it seems most likely he'll be leaving. The names floating around are just not good enough

ES wrote:So, it seems increasingly likely that we will attain Musacchio according to Sky
I've already stated my view on him up, he's extremely injury prone, missed half of the season this year, came back in December and played through until the end of February and got injured again. Should it be wise to spend this much on him? Mind you, in that period he came back (mid December-end of February) Villarreal havent lost a single game, and kept a few clean sheets as well, most notably, the one against Madrid, which was Musacchio's best performance, alongside his Napoli match.
With Musacchio and Pjaca, thats 50m off ffrom our reported 100m budget
Glaring weaknesses in our side:
-Need at least 2 creative midfielders (3 wouldnt hurt)
-Need a CDM who's good with the ball at his feet to operate in front of the defence
-Need back up wingers for Bona/Pjaca (Honda aint gonna cut it), im not sure what will become of Suso as well so, question mark there
-Need a more experienced keeper with DL heading out
With the remaining budget, i see us getting 2 more players really, we're already on Kovacic's heels and Montella apparently wants a 'great' midfielder for that role in front of the defence.
kovacic would be great, and i wish we had gone for wijnaldum

"400 million euros in two years."
"Milan are chasing Kovacic, Paredes, Zielinski."
Nekminnit, close to Sosa and turned down by Joaquin.

hope we havent lost any appeals on how great milan is, and that some great players sign up for us because on long term project is gonna be huge. at least, we will be needing squad to finish top 3 in CL spot beecause rivals knows milan and inter now will have significant budget and napoli roma juve has strengthen themselves

According to Sky we've made Zielinski our midfield priority, price tag of 13 million euros.
Mediaset Premium are stating we've negotiated Villarreal down to 25 million for Musacchio.

Of all the Empoli midfielders, we go for Zielinski , guy seems like a slightly better version of Bertolacci, it seems the only criterion for us chasing midfielders is if he scored a couple of goals lol
Also, we are fighting with Everton for Badelji according to Sky

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
I would prefer to bring in Paredes, but I'm not against buying Zielinski. He's not the sort of midfielder who I'd have approved of under our previous management with Sinisa but I feel Montella can make good use of his skillset.
He's certainly not the complete package yet. He struggled against Juventus in particular due to his size and lack of strength, Pogba simply dominated him physically. He's also not particularly prolific but it should be noted that he's more of a central midfielder than an attacking one.
Good close control, passes well, agile. If we're to simply acquire Zielinski it won't be enough but if he's one of two creative midfield additions, in addition to a new anchor, I'd be content with bringing him in for a decent price.

Re: Mercato Rossonero: Milan Transfer Activity Inside Out
I'm pessimistic about our chances of getting another midfielder, is all. Especially, after the Bert/Witsel saga last summer.
Anyways, if Roma aren't idiots (They're not) they'll keep Paredes, thats a free Pjanic replacement for them.

Sky also reveal that in line with Galliani's suggestion that Milan acquire an experienced champion, Montella's list includes Simone Perotta.

Just joking around Cruijf, don't worry.
Though in times past, 38 wouldn't have been a problem.

Sky also stating Pjaca's chosen Juventus and it will all be wrapped up soon.
The first step from Pjaca to Cuadrado to Iturbe to re-signing Prince is almost complete.
